Sorry you didn't have any luck, but I even asked the guy on the Tech & Phone desk how many he had out the back and he said 'Oh, a fair few'.
I actually posted while I was still in the store on the chilled section getting some bacon, so it was instant info.

I very nearly just walked away when it scanned up at £529, but the chap said the demo box had a different barcode on it to the regular stock. He was surprised when it flashed up at £149 though.

I bought it just over 2 hours ago, and one other MSE'er has got one (as posted here), so if you are in the Portsmouth area then it might well be worth popping in in person.
It depends on how badly you want one and how much effort you want to expend.

Phoning might not be the best option as mentioned.

There is a new Tesco in North End, but it's only a little Express, doubt they would have any! When I went in the other day they didn't even have sandwiches!

This computer only has 512MB of RAM BTW, not sure if it is easy (or indeed desirable) to increase. There's a comprehensive review by Ajax here, where he criticizes the non-standard USB connection.

Went to Bristol Cribbs Causeway and they didn't have any. He checked stock online and Bristol East came up with 12 in stock, so he rang, but they said they didn't have any. A bit dodgy or what?
