Just bought one at No**h Harb*ur!

Sales assistant scanned the demo box and it came up as £529!!
Went out the back and came back with another scanned at £149 result!

Loads out back apparently, staff totally unaware of the discount.
Go get' em!

It theoretically makes it more difficult for Tesco (or "quick diving in lurkers") to search the threads for errors/glitches in particular stores!

Just a heads up here to warn you about the completely hopeless Tesco Customer Service.

I bought one of these last night at my local store only to discover its in White and I wanted Black.

First call to 0845 6779603 and I am told that my local store has none in stock. I ask her to call the store to check, and surprise they actually have 2 in stock but both are in white

Asked her to try the next largest store to me, no stock showing on system she says. I asked her to call them direct to check, but I am told no answer from the store (within 10 seconds of me asking!)

Second call to 0845 6779603 and I am told still no answer at second store. Advised to call back later. Do they have a direct number so I can call the store directly myself? Apparently not. Im told to call 0845 6779603 again later.

Third Call to 0845 6779603. Lines at store still engaged or no answer, and no they cant ask the store to call me back.

Fourth Call to 0845 6779603. Lines engaged im told.

Forget it.

So no direct numbers it seems to call your local Tesco store, stock system is not reliable, Tesco make money from your attempts to contact their store, and no they wont take messages or call you back. Every little helps!

None at Tecso Gatwick this morning, despite plenty of (empty) boxes on the shelf, which gives the impression they have stock. Guy working there confirmed none left....bit of a shame

I'm using mine without a SIM at the moment, just using wifi. Would have thought you can use any standard Sim with data allowance though as its just like an oversized phone!
I'll pop in my ohone shop and ask later.


**ETA; Just checked at my local Vodafone store- you do need a data SIM - these are free when you top them up. I haven't checked the other networks yet. But I think I will def get one so I can use it on the road.
