Do you really need to ask. Honestly you are either stupid or naive into thinking anyone would touch you with a 10foot bargepole
People who d/d should be banned for a very long time too many idiots on the road as it is, leave the road to us safe drivers and get muppets off the roadhighrisklowreturn wrote: »Is there anywhere does this? Enquired after a porshe today off Eurocar but was basically told scram.

Now hold on... d/d is very bad and people get punished severely. Not only do they lose their license but they are hit with many thousands of pounds of penalty thanks to their loaded insurance policies.
Strange how a d/d is the worst in the world, no matter whether they did harm or not... but a habitual (sober) speeder who causes an accident is considered as little more than an unfortunate statistic.Always overestimating...0 -
I never stated d/d are worst in the world, but anybody who doesn't take control of there vehicle whether its alcohol, drugs, using mobile, consistently speeding deserves to be off road. Now hold on... d/d is very bad and people get punished severely. I sympathise so far as you did only have 2 pints and were probably not smashed off your face, but you certainly have no cause for complaint.
Also, to pull away without your lights on was a bit stupid.... surely if you'd been drinking you'd want to remain as inconspicuous to the rozzas as possible, so why make yourself stand out more?
That's called natural selection, dude!!!0 -
First time I've heard Darwin's ideas applied to d/ding...
Cause it wasn't terribly dark, and was only on a literally 1 minute journey to kebab joint....
In mainland Britain I believe there limit is higher, meaning I'm a criminal in NI under a law which is not applied so in England.0 -

No, the d/d limits are the same. The ideas to lower them here are still only in the proposal stage0 -

Nope, NI and Britain have the same drink driving limits. You're a criminal in NI and you'd be a criminal in England for the same reasons.0 -
I fully endorse criminality then.
What is the limit? I was 53mg.0 -

If it was a breath test: 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
53 milligrams is quite significantly over 35 micrograms.
By the way, as an Anglican, you should be well aware of the fact that there's no such thing as a "little sin" or a "big sin". Same with drink driving - you're either guilty of it or not.0
