2 UU:
BS mint lip roll on: WNBA- it was lovely and minty but did nothing for my lips so I went through this pretty quickly. Because it was dispensed through a rollerball, it was very liquid, similar to an almond oil consistency.
Max factor lipbalm: WIBA?- If I could, I think this came with a lipfinity lipstick or something similar? again, went through this quickly and similar to soft lips
I was listening to laura solon: talking and not talking, and there was a character who was a 'body shopaholic' who remortgaged the house to pay for it, and had to bury her stash in the garden because she had so much :rotfl:
speaking of which BS sent me an email for 30% off because I haven't bought anything in a while?:D
One last thing, I was reading a magazine article which tested someone's makeup bag to see what bacteria there was on their makeup. It showed that mascara didn't have enough to be harmful, even though it had been open for more than the recommended 3 months. It was in fact the eyeliner that had the most bacteria :eek:Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -

Afternoon all,
I've got 3 UUs to declare:
1. Liz Earle Skint Tint sample - WNBA. Coverage was good, but left my skin feeling itchy as I think it wasn't moisturising enough.
2. Lush Foot scrub - WNBA. Smells nice, but doesn't really do much. Did last for about 5-6 uses though, which is more than I thought it would, but crumbled a lot.
3. Lush Karma Bath bomb - WBA. Nice smell, lots of bubbles. A regular buy of mine really.
I hope everyone is having a good dayIn the end the journey's brought joys which outweigh the pain.
No buying toiletries in November: INs 1 OUTs 10. Total OUTs since October: 260 -
I hope you are ok mingle.bohemianrose9 wrote: »Morning all,
Haven't posted in a while but am flying through my stash. Currently I'm down to my last shower soap, shampoo, conditioner, face wash and even had to buy Marie Claire for a new home handcream as I'd run out! The stubborn items are all things that I don't use that often - face masks, styling products, etc, so I'm going to make a real effort to use them up, as I love the extra space I've gained already!
:T well done bohemianrose9 - I can only dream of that kind of space
My Gum hairspray is almost out, maybe a day or two left in it. The same goes for my Clinique liquid soap and Clinique foundation. I am hoping that all will be UU's before the end of the month.
I am going to paint my nails tonight - Next Metal - for the first time. Will report back.
Have a nice evening everyone.No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
OK, am going to try and be super good in November - spent too much on make up this month.
UU
VO5 Shampoo and Conditioner (Nourish me truly) - were only £1 each on offer WIBA? Yes, they were great and good value. Replaced with Superdrug Raspberry Shampoo & Cond for Coloured Hair - £1.75 for both together. Smells fab.
Nivea Showergel (White rose and almond oil) - WIBA? Already have - only place that seems to have this scent is poundland!
Clinique All About Eyes Rich WIBA? Yes, but not this month! Got some ROC eye cream that I like on the go, so that will keep me going for 6 to 8 weeks.
Lush Angels on Bare Skin scrub - WIBA? Yes, I love this stuff but might get the christmas scrub which smells amazing.
Body Shop Vitamin C microdermabrasion scrub - WIBA? Nah, it came in a pack with the vitamin C eye stuff and face balm I wanted, so it was effectively free, but its nothing special.
The pile of stuff in the top drawer of the bathroom is going down, slowly, slowly...Must.Stay.Strong.
Only in is more anti-bacterial handgel (Aloe Vera) from Boots, but free with points :A0 -
Used the Seanik for the first time - hair is very soft, so that's a plus. I'm dying to know what the Oakwood Aromatics shampoo is like so I'll get some to give as gifts....
Off topic, there's a brand of biscuits that I really like, more than any others, that I haven't been able to find for some time. They are very plain but I love them because they taste like Farley's Rusks.
Anyway I emailed the company yesterday, asking if they had been discontinued, or if not could I buy some?
The reply came within minutes - no major store wants to stock them,, (I guess they are too plain and unexciting) no you can't buy a case, but please send us your postal address.
I emailed straight back.
Six packets arrived today.
I'm in ecstasy. I have a friend who really likes them too, so she'll get some.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

I got that email toobut resisted looking at the site, still have plenty BS to use up, although I expect I'll buy some in the Boxing day sales like last year when they were almost paying you to take it away!!
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
