morning all, huge pile of ironing to do and Zoe Ball in for Ken Bruce:mad:....good dancer but can't stand her on the radio:rotfl:
went dancing last night with a tiny cut at the end of my big toe whcih started to hurt and bleed due to pressure of dancing:(.....therefore can't book fish pedicure till it heals:(
wore my new YSL perfume and said to DH I'd love it if you wore aftershave(sadly he makes a bottle last years)so danced round in a heady scent all night:):):):)
  • mcculloch29 - thanks for the link, it was an interesting read. I'm still more inclined to buy products from Lush than other brands - I can't think of another brand which has more environmentally friendly products (I'm mainly thinking about the lack of plastic with their bubble bars, solid shampoos etc.). Plus I really like their products! Of course, each to their own :)

rosemary54 - Lush used to support (and maybe still do?) the Hunt Saboteurs Association which would illegally saboteur hunts, you can google for more information.
In the end the journey's brought joys which outweigh the pain.
No buying toiletries in November: INs 1 OUTs 10. Total OUTs since October: 26
  • Sawan - unfortunately yes Lush have stopped putting the 10% off vouchers in the gift sets! I was a bit annoyed by that, considering the gift sets are more expensive than buying the products separately. They are still accepting them though - at least they were on Friday - and as far as I know they don't have plans to stop.

I have always found that odd about their gift sets, as in most stores the set works out cheaper (kind of the point of having a set in my eyes tbh). I hope they don't stop accepting them. I'll put mine in my purse, and try to pay a visit (I know I shouldn't be adding my stash, but I do love bubble bars, and I would rather get a discount then not!) :o

Mcculloch I guess it just wasn't meant to be! I used to be a night owl, but I think I'm working harder at work than I used to, so just generally have less energy. Plus I should really be taking iron tablets according to the Doctor (and I'm not :o). I don't mind eating at 8 or even 9 pm, but to just sit at 10 & probably eat at 11 is far too late even for me!

No INs to report (still waiting for my BrandAlley order to arrive, when HDNL finally decide that me being here means I am here to accept a delivery!!)

    How was everybody's weekend?

Another UU- i'm on a roll!

TBS Vitamin E Toner. I would buy again but I'm not sure of the purpose of toner.

Hope everyone is well. About to catch up on the thread now. I'm waiting for the police to come around because i've just had a stranger abuse me in the street.

I wonder what planet editors are on sometimes  And now I know who to blame for the carrot shortage if my local Sainsbury's is out! :rotfl:

I had a nice-ish customer earlier. Well, she was pretty rude on the phone when I told her what was wrong with her car, but then she came round and apologised! I did honestly appreciate that. I can't help faults which are on cars, but it does get difficult when you're on the end of the line for the anger. It really is easier when somebody realises you're just doing your job!

Going out for dinner with my best friend tonight. An Italian place we've not been to before. I do hope it's nice! :)

Hmmm I did not realise this, paying extra just for the lovely gift wrapped box!

I have I think 4 10% off vouchers left from Christmas gift boxes last year and I used one on Sunday buying a gift box for my friend's birthday. So they do still take them.

No movement on the toiletry front.
