Are we allowed to count binned items?
If so, I have three to declare this evening:
2 x Urban Decay nail polishes
1 x Boots 17 glitter nail polish (dried up)
It sounds silly but it actually is quite a buzz to use up and/or get rid.... which makes me feel even more stupid for buying it all in the first place! No Buying Toiletries Challenge since 23/10/2011
OUTs so far: 111 :j0 -

Hello Ladies - Would the lovely ladies who tested the MF Samples for me mind posting your thoughts on here? After all we all had a UU of the samples
and I think everyone would like to hear what you thought
I'll kick it off:
The sample was too dark for me but the full size bottle in the lighter shade was good for me. It was quite heavy on my skin but did go on evenly and cleanly. I did struggle with it during the mini heatwave recently and I could feel it sliding off my face. I felt it sort of rested on my face like a mask rather than absorbing. However that could be my amateur make up skills :rotfl:
Who's next?Thanks lovelies

I think I saw that the Tesco value wipes are down to 41p last time I went in. Forgot to mention it earlier.

Mingle, I hope you are ok and have lots of support around you. I hope you enjoyed your Italian food Sawan!
My stance on Lush is that they seem to be very random and unthinking in some of the causes they openly support.
I'm sure my cash from buying things from other companies is perhaps used in ways that I wouldn't approve of, or much care for. But it isn't trumpeted as if it was something wonderful.
My bar of Seanik tells me that in buying it I supported Surfers Against Sewage. I'm not a surfer, but I am a fan of clean seas. I would hope that Surfers Against Sewage used the money wisely, unlike the Hunt Saboteurs Association and the profits from Fabulous Mrs Fox.
On a similar tack, they've just introduced a charge for carrier bags of 5p in Wales. The money is donated by the supermarkets to 'charities'. But which charities? My sister lives in Cardiff and though she doesn't buy many bags she would quite like to know which charities she is supporting when she does.
Anyway... speaking of Lush, I've finally used up the tiny scrap of Karma, and replaced it in the tin with Seanik, which has a very useful tab running through the centre so that you can lift it out of the tin. About time too. Levering the bars is a nightmare. I shall report on what it's like.
So UU - Lush Karma Solid Shampoo.
WIBA? No .. I've found an alternative solid shampoo supplier, quite near to me too ...
Oakwood Aromatics
At Oakwood, a solid shampoo is £3 for 80 grammes against Lush's £5 for 55 grammes - it works out at almost three times as much at Lush.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
