  • I'm ashamed to admit I had a very naughty weekend with rather a lot of INs:

    Lancome Tresor Midnight Rose perfume
Andrea Fulerton Colour Nail Polish in Daisy
Andrea Fulerton Colour Nail Polish in Eliza
    Andrea Fulerton Gemstone Overcoat
Andrea Fulerton Trio Nail Polish in Art Attack
Andrea Fulerton Trio Nail Polish in Rain Fall
    Nails Inc in Cambridge
Nails Inc in Hyde Park Gate
    Nails Inc in Oxford
    Nails Inc in Richmond
    Nails Inc in Wimbledon
Topshop Nails in One Hot Minute
    Topshop Nails in Smashing Pumpkin
Lush Buche De Noel cleanser 100g
    Lush Ultrabland cleanser 100g
Boots Double Sided Cotton Wool Pads 100s

Boots Double Sided Cotton Wool Pads 100s
Lancome Teint Miracle foundation in Lys Rose
Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Daily All In One BB Cream sample x 4

:o To be fair I did have quite a lot of vouchers and some birthday money so it wasn't as horrifically expensive as it could have been (although still not cheap)!

However, I did sort of make up for it by having a few more OUTs...

    UUs

Original Source Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel sample - WBA as it had a lovely strong minty smell and was nice and moisturising. I also find Original Source to be really good value as you can normally get it for £1 or £2 a bottle
Head & Shoulders Itchy Scalp Care shampoo and conditioner samples - possibly WBA as whilst I don't have any scalp problems it smelt nice and made my hair feel very soft

    Given away
Topshop Nails in Carry On Camping
Topshop Nails in Beyond The Sea
Bourjois Little Round Pot Eyeshadow in 12 Bleu Magique
Rimmel Glam'Eyes Quad eyeshadow in Urban Flower
Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Heart Breaker

Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")

    can't find a number to call ebay/paypal

    Sounds horrendous hun :(

To get a number to call paypal - log in to your account - scroll right to the bottom of the page and in tiny letters it says 'contact us'. A screen will come up with 2 options and under option 2 it says 'call us' click that and it will give you a 'web pin' to fast track to the customer service number it gives.

If you are locked out completely the CS number is 08707 307 191
PayPal Customer Service opening times are from Monday-Friday 8am-10pm, Saturday 8am-9pm or Sunday 9am-9pm. If your call is about a limitation placed on your account, please phone Monday-Friday 8am-8.30pm or Saturday-Sunday 9.30am-6.30pm

    Hope that helps???? :(

Thanks, I didn't want to call a 0870 number because they are so expensive so I found a 020 number instead. Just trying to upload info, apparently because I have received payments outwith ebay it has set alarms off. I'm sick of ebay/paypal so this has made me determined not to buy anything that I don't need just now. :(

  • Hi all!

Sorry I've been AWOL again, all been busy this end, although I'm not entirely sure what with - you know those times where things just pile up?! Hope everyone's ok - I've not had a chance to catch up yet but will soon!

    I have a couple of UU;
a Dove cream silk shower gel, WBA as it's my staple 'not too expensive and works' shower gel
a sure deodorant spray WNBA as it didn't work! and jsut ended up gassing us to death when used... was a freebie so not too bothered - used up as much as I could bear without feeling guilty about binning the rest!

    Which leads to 2 ins;
a mitchum deodorant stick and a sure deodorant stick. I needed them because as above, I'd binned my last deodorant. I've used the Sure one before so am fine with that one, and I've heard good things about Mitchum and it was on offer so....

Dug out my Redken hair stuff this week too as my hair is looking a bit rough and strawlike. Two uses of the all soft heavy cream, and it's all lovely and silky and shiny. I love that stuff! :j

Right, off to catch up on all your gossip! (just while I'm stuck at my desk until 6 - then I will be shopping with a vengeance for my halloween housewarming party tomorrow. Am very excited, found the best lovely flattering witch costume :-) )

Evening ladies. I am posting this during my dinner break as I am staying with my mum at the moment. She had another episode the early hours of Thursday morning and was taken into hospital by ambulance. She called me to tell me she was waiting on the ambulance! We then spent from 5-10am in E & A waiting on a bed in a ward for her. Thankfully again the suspected heart attack was just the same thing as before but she got a real fright. She got out yesterday afternoon - with no further tests or treatment as she had previoulsy been seen at another hospital. She was told that they wouldn't do anything as it was the other hospital's responsibility  .

It just confirmed what we all aready know - cost matters more that wellbeing.

So while at mum's I have no internet access as she has just changed providers thanks to advice on here :money:.

Back O/T: I have taken a few of my travel minis through to use at my mum's. So I have opened the Clinique Laser Focus foundation and it feels really nice going on. A little does go a long way.

I also decanted my Clinique liquid soap into a travel pump bottle but that still has at least a week left in it. :( I wanted to count this in my UU for this month but heh ho.

Also opened and used my freebie Dove body wash which is fine - does the job.

I did forget a few things as well - my eye cream and hairspray.

1 UU - No7 Body lotion travel mini. WIBA - yes I did like it, sank in really well and didn't leave me feeling sticky.

Kind of off topic but needing to get my hair cut and have seen some links for cutting your own hair on youtube. I have short hair so can anyone offer any advice, have been looking online but haven't been able to find any videos for trimming your own short short
    TIA :)

    Hi ladies,

Sawan - love the purple design nails.

Asset - I had an issue with paypal when they blocked my account for security reasons after I made a transaction for $3 (?). I had to wait for the flaming credit card bill to come to get the code they needed to reactivate it. Very annoying.

    I have another UU:
Sephora Mint shower gel 150ml. This smelt divine in the bottle and had a lovely turquoise colour, but I was ultimately disappointed as the scent didn't last. WNBA.

And, sadly, some INs thanks to another UK trip:
Batiste Blush - my big can is spluttering so this is needed.
    No7 Gentle foaming cleanser - bought with a £5 No7 voucher
2x BS Wild Cherry body lotion 250ml
    BS Passionfruit shower gel 250ml
    BS Papaya shower gel 250ml

There was a huge display at the airport Body Shop of reduced body butters & shower gels. With the VAT taken off the shower gels were only £1.66. I was so tempted but had to remind myself that it's getting out of hand. I was doing ok but I've fallen off big time recently and the stash is not getting any smaller.......

    Have a good weekend
