This is my first attempt with my new Orly kit, so it wasn't necessary, but it is something I will use, I hope you guys like it:

Wow, that looks awesome! You always have the best nail designs :D Sadly I'm far too cack-handed to do anything that isn't as simple as crackle...

I've discovered I have lots of half used / some almost empty shower gel bottles I'm intending to decant all of these odds and ends of shower gel into one huge bottle. Its one of those bottles where you push down and out comes the shower gel. I can't remember what these type of bottles are called ! but at the end of all the decanting, I shall have rather a unique shower gel!!

    Hello all, Happy Halloween!

    One final UU for October!
No7 Sumptuous Bath Soak. WIBA? I'd like to, it has a lovely delicate fragrance and leaves your skin silky. I just can't justify £9 a bottle, even £4 with a coupon at the minute  it does last ages though. (I bought this bottle ages ago to get the free gift :o ) Anyway, I might do at some point in the future.

So that's a nice net of 9 products used up for October! Not bad. Must try harder though.

Managed to squeeze in one UU for the last day of the month. Elemis Tranquil Mind bath elixir, smells good but strongly scented. I got it free in the summer offer no way would I pay full price (about £20) for it.

I have 2 more UU to report for October

Cheapo mascara that was free in a magazine, WNBA but couldn't anyway as it didn't have a brand on it. Have moved onto a No 7 Extreme Lengths mascara which I think is going to leave black smudges under my eyes if today is anything to go by!

Avon Visual Perfection tinted moisturiser - WBA but have another in the stash already! This was a LHJ and a half, after using this for months I cut open the tube to discover loads of product clinging round the edge, so much that I decanted it into an empty moisturiser tub and I have been using the leftovers up for another 2 months!! It was certainly very MSE!

My totals are 15 UU and 12 INS for October so the stash has gone down slightly, must try to have less ins in November!!

  • Hello everyone,

Just dropping in to give an update after doing this challenge for almost 1 year. So far i have managed to use between 50-60 products, ranging from samples to family sized products however still have 60 plus to go

Have to confess that i havent exactly been faithfull as i've brought a few items during the year (mainly essentials and items that have been more than 75% off). However i have not placed any bodyshop orders (apart from the TBS groupon which i spent on a wedding present for a friend but kept the freebies). I've also hidden my boots and debenhams cards away under some heavy boxes so really have to be desperate to get them out again.:rotfl:

Have throughly enjoyed opening my bi-annual packages that i boxes away last year. Forgot what i had put in them so it was a nice suprise from myself to my self. Shopping in your own stash is the best especially if you have a mixture of really good products and not so good products.

Huge thanks to the person who posted thier soap and glory stash last year, took a pic of this on my phone and when ever i felt weak i took one look at this picture and it was enough to make me see sense.:D

Good luck with the challenge everyone, keep up the good work and remember.... some products are totally rubbish and seem to last forever and ever and ever but trust me, perserve and one day the stupid thing will finish and you'll be grateful and you'll always think twice about stocking up on a product that you've never tried.

    Hi,
Just to update this month before I head to the new thread. I UU moose anyi build up shampoo WIBA no as i am avoiding shampoos with sls in it, but for people who dont care this is not a bad shampoo. I also used up an eco store coconut and vanilla hand wash WIBA- possibly as i do like it but I did buy it heavily reduced. UU eaucalyptus oil WIBA yes absolutely, always have it in the house, but will not need to buy for a little while as had another on the go also.

One in to report a mirennesse eye shadow which came with a magazine that I got at a petrol station with a petrol offer so effectively i got a mag, eyeshadow and chocolate for $3.50 so was a bargain lol considering the eyeshadow goes for over $30.

All in all 3 ins and 10 outs so not too bad, but could have done better.
