had 3 calls today from empire claims saying they want to help me claim back protection payment charges....no I don't have any and am getting very annoyed as they won't take no for an answer:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Rosemary, have you registered with the Telephone Preference Service? You can make a complaint against the company if you have, and if you haven't saying 'I've registered with the TPS' at the first opportunity stops most calls.
It doesn't stop calls from abroad, but if you have Caller Display you can just not answer those.
The ones that make me mad are the automated ones. These should be made illegal.

My UU . The second Mango and Nectarine body butter I was trialling. Horrible stuff that smelled of TCP. It left a nasty sticky residue on the skin. I have satin sheets so I can turn over easily in bed (arthritis makes it tricky) and this stuff made it quite difficult. That's some level of stickiness, as I normally have no bother.

I so hope that this isn't the actual product the company make. The ingredients were very different in each of the samples so a quick bit of label reading should solve that.

    Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Well, it's been a quiet month for me as I had a lot of UU towards the end of September- here's what I've UU so far-

BS Raspberry body lotion - WNBA - Think I bought this during one of the many glitches, nice enough to use but I don't really want to smell like a raspberry:D

John Frieda Brilliant Brunette conditioner - This was a travel size and I must have used it for weekends away as I only managed 2 uses out of it. Don't think I WBA as it seemed to strip a lot of dye out of my hair (well the shampoo did but I like to use the same brand of shampoo and conditioner)

Goldwell intensive conditioner - I won this a few years ago, lovely to use but a bit pricey for me to buy:o

Nivea Happy Time - Think I won this one too, WBA - lovely smell and really bubbly.

Sanctuary body wash - Bought this ages ago as there was a big box of freebies if you spent £10:o. Would not buy again unless there were more freebies as it was nothing special. Actually preferred the Nivea one above.

I have an IN as I'm down to just 2 sample size hair conditioners so bought a cheapie one to try from Tesco, looks like Tresemme so I'll see how that goes. At least thats one part of my stash gone:D.

I don't think I'll ever UU all my moisturisers as I've been using the same day cream since March!

    Morning all,
Haven't posted in a while but am flying through my stash. Currently I'm down to my last shower soap, shampoo, conditioner, face wash and even had to buy Marie Claire for a new home handcream as I'd run out! The stubborn items are all things that I don't use that often - face masks, styling products, etc, so I'm going to make a real effort to use them up, as I love the extra space I've gained already!

That's excellent, bohemianrose! :T I still have loads to get rid of, but the amount of space I have already liberated is amazing: I swear that I get more of a buzz at using things up and thinking 'Brilliant, that's a bit more space I've got now' than I could ever get from buying something new.

Just 2 huge drawers to go...:rotfl:

    Used Up
Boscia Enlivening Amino AG Eye Treatment - was my third bottle and probably my favourite eye cream, however difficult to get of as the brand is only available in the US. Dislike its pump bottle, I'm sure there was still leftover product that I couldn't get out...

Juice Beauty Green Apple Antioxidant Moisturizer SPF 20 - again an annoying pump bottle with leftover product I can see but can't get out, even after leaving the bottle upside down for some time. Almost a perfect body moisturizer if it wasn't for the low SPF (usually want 30+) and that I don't think it has both UVA + UVB protection, just can't remember which one it was.

    In
Hurraw Sun Protection Lip Balm SPF 15 - wanted a natural lip balm without chemical SPF, the stuff I can usually taste (and hate).

Organic Wear Jumbo Lash Mascara x 2 - for around $10 each including shipping from the US. I have not found any reasonably priced natural mascaras in the UK, where they are usually £12-18. Considering I do not wear mascara daily and they have a short lifespan once opened, there's no point spending too much.

    Thrown out
Living Nature Eye Makeup Remover - because it stunk from day one, I have no idea what of (random herbs??). Put up with it because it did an okay job of removing makeup, though nothing spectacular. While I don't really have a preference when it comes to fragranced/unfragraced products, I will absolutely boot out those offending my nostrils.

Another 2 UU's - Freebie Clinique Laser Focus foundation. WIBA? Really liked the coverage and it went on nicely too. So maybe.

Also Listerine mouthwash travel size - yes WBA.

Another two UUs which helps my October total:

Cerruti 1881 EDT 100ml, my HG perfume, a new one ready in the stash.
No7 Intense Volume waterproof mascara. Like this product and WBA, but I have a 17 Mascara to UU first.

  • One IN to report- a Jo Malone sample vial of perfume I bought from Ebay. Havn't got round to trying it yet.

UU- Morrisons Morroccon body butter- WBA, less than £2, thick texture and smells gorgous. Will buy this again next time I need body butter.
Palmolive thermal spa shower gel spluttering- WNBA, think this came from mum. It has grains in it which arent really big enough to exfoliate just don't rinse well.
Liz Earle instant boost skin tonic is spluttering- got another on order already- love this.
    April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£150
