Can I still plant my daffodil bulbs?

The bulb packet says the latest I can plant my daffodils is December. Like lots of other things recently, I just didn't get around to doing it! It seems a shame to waste these bulbs and I wondered if I planted them now is there any chance whatsoever that they might be ok?

Heehee you all inspired me to go digging today too I bought a bunch of bulbs in autumn and forgot to plant them :eek: most are ok and some have even started rooting and shooting to figured heck I'll stick them in and see how they do so that was 2 hours of my day today lol
