Jump up and down, play loud music they don't like, lounge around naked, make love all over the house whenever you want to, eat rubbish food and you don't have to justify it.
Basically enjoy yourself while you have some free time!

Absolutely, stay in bed all day, go to the cinema in the afternoon, go out for a 3 hour lunch with wine:D perfect, drink champagne in bed:T

  • My other half took our son away for a few days last December - it was actually the first time DS and I had spent a night apart. He was then 5. I couldn't go, as I was busy at work, but I made the most of it. I went out straight after work to meet friends, had a lie-in on Saturday morning with no-one prising open an eyelid and saying, "are you awake yet?"

I did miss them both, though!
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

I remember when eldest was 6 and he went to his grandparents for a week, I spoilt it for myself by just walking around aimlessly like my heart had been ripped to shreds, I sat in his room and howled, could barely speak to him on the phone because everytime I heard his voice I welled up and did not want him to hear me like that, what a waste:rotfl::rotfl:

    Oh if only now:D

Make sure he has some emergency money tucked away and takes his mobile (and charger) in case he needs to exit himself from a bad situation/get in touch with you. Maybe have a chat about who/where he could safely go to if, for instance, his mum and partner were kicking the hell out of each other.

Can you tell I'm a worrier too? :D
