We are very fortunate to have a pantry which is always cool (or nips-like-chapel-hat-pegs-chilly!!!) Though the runny honey and chocolate spread always need to be sliced rather than spread!!!!0

Does anybody know if they do the biobulbs for the small fittings as that is what my light fitting in the living room takes?
If not I guess I will have to invest in a tall lamp but money (and space!) is tight atm.
I am feeling poorly today so have put the heating on 'high' for the first time this year just to be cosy and am dosed up with strong painkillers. Went back to bed earlier and will have an early night tonight.Putting these winter preps here so I don't forget!

Also on the black friday deals at amaz*n they have some that they only give a clue for. One says enjoy a new dawn of moodiness. This one will go on sale at 5 today. I could be wrong but i'm thinking it might be one of those sunrise alarm clocks that help with SAD. I could be completely wrong but maybe worth a look, i'm enjoying myself anyway trying to solve the riddles(\__/)(='.'=)(")_(")0

A top tip is to buy your coal in the summer. On the first of September my coal merchant puts his prices up so I bought 15 x 20kg bags of new flame (anthracite) for £7.20 each in August.0

I have one of my wardrobes that I need to get dealt with some time this week. I need to get the stacked pile of T Shirts out and put in the drawers under the bed. I have just held off doing it because the weather has been mild, but I sense a chill in their air and I think it is time to farewell to them for the time being.
I also have a couple of jumpers that I need to de-fuzz as well, so I might sit in front of the fire tonight and do that.
The car is getting cleaned tomorrow. I had planned to wax it as well, but in reality i cannot see that happening. It has a good wax layer on the paintwork anyway I might have a blast on that nearer to Christmas. As long as it is clean that is the main thing.
Just got the gates to oil up now. DH cleared away the leaves from the front garden this morning, after the reported gales have been this week I am hoping that they will be pretty much all gone!Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:

Thanks to whoever posted... I got one of each as I know I have some screwcap fittings somewhere. They went very quickly... I only managed it because I'm waiting for someone to turn up and they're late0 -
Oh and thanks Kittie for the Shipton Mill info you gave me a while ago. I now have two sack of flour, one plain and one bread so if nothing else I can create "stuff" if the snow ever makes it darrrn saarrrrffff.
The in laws are moving down here this weekend so I will have to make sure they are suitably organised. But I am just round the corner from them (but far enough away.0 -
Oh pooh - I was really hoping to get a couple of the bulbs but was out at docs (AGAIN)!
Worringly I have discovered 2 patches of damp in the sitting room, one in the corner at ceiling height on party wall and the other much bigger half way up the wall riht by the window????????? What on earth is causing that? It must be penetrating damp of some kind but I cant see anywhere outside where this could be happening.
Have got the dehumidifier going full blast to try and remedy - but am seriously puzzled.debt free 2021 at current DMP rate[/COLOR] (probably be in an old peoples home by then)0
