Warrant for arrest because she didn't turn upShe must be really stupid. A hands-free kit costs around a tenner.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

£500wouldnt it have better to advise her to go to court?
I did tell her this would be the best option but she was totally against it. She may regret that depending on what happens next though.
And to everyone else...I totally agree she deserves everything that she has coming. Was just looking to find out what the likely outcome would be.
I'm guessing it'll be a couple weeks before she hears anything (if she's not arrested before then!) but no problem in letting you all know what the outcome is!0 -

Even worse...I gave her one which I didn't need! There's just no telling some people though.0 -
Your friend gets caught using her phone whilst driving, she deserves eveything she gets. I love the way you`ve been left to do all the leg work, she`s got you well trained. Why don`t you pay the fine and take the points for her as well.0

I'm simply helping a friend who would do the same for me. I'll guess you don't have many friends if you think that's unreasonable.
For someone so insistent that she gets what she deserves, it's strange you think I should break the law by taking the points.0 -
Warrant for arrest because she didn't turn upare you sure youre just a friend-i only say this because i wouldnt do anything like that for a friend who repeatedly used their phone and doesnt seem to think theres anything wrong with doing soWhat goes around-comes around0

If I wasn't "just a friend" I would have said otherwise.
What do you mean "anything like that"? I ticked a couple of boxes and filled in a form. It was easier for me to do as I understood the legal jargon.
And she does know she has doing wrong. She's just stupid enough to continue doing it. I'm totally against it and haven't said otherwise but, as a friend, I'll do what I can to help.0 -

as it was passed to hmcs those forms are no good to send back at all, she should have filled the forms in as soon as she recieved them ignorance is not a excuse to them. predating them is no good, as either theyre lost in post or theyre delivered give or take a day a day or two not a few weeks, actually predating them could be a bad decision, check out attempting to de-fraud, and perverting the course of justice! the likley outcome could be they ban your friend as its her second offence of driving whilst using a mobile phone and not attending court either is seen as she doesnt really care for her actions, i dont think she would have a warrant executed on her straight away, i firmly believe they would sentence her in her absence with a time scale to pay the fine in one lump, she fails to do that then a bailifs will call, failure to pay then would result in a warrant for unpaid fine she would get arrested and would then be processed to court bail may not be an option because she has failed to turn up in the past, so likley to be detained untill court next morn or same day but seeing as the system is a little backwards she may get away with being rel;eased to attend next day.0
