took out a contract for nokia 6280 handset price: 48 pounds and it was on 12 months free line rental, Video, Talk & Text 700 (12 Month)
12 Months Free Line rental PLUS SCP 50 with any handset.

Anyway ordered online, called them up and asked about the SCP 50, didnt know what it was, i got told that it was 50 mins free every month for international calls, thought oh ok thats a great deal then, got a call from them before my delivery date and we went over the tariff and the contract i had taken out, was once again told about the SCP 50, i asked them about minutes, cashback everything, i was told that the SCP 50 tariff gives you 50 minutes for international calls to 170 countries.

Received my phone today with another phone SENDO S330 (worth like 20 pounds), i thought wat the hell, i didnt order this phone, so after a few calls to the customer services department i was told that the sendo phone comes with the SCP 50 but obviously like many mobile dealers there was a catch! :eek: , i have to pay 5.99 insurance for 9 months (first 3 months free) which i cannot cancel for this phone, so i wasnt told anything about this additional handset, theres nothing on the site so obviously they tricked me.

I dont think that there is anything i can do about this, i was told that the SCP 50 within my nokia 6280, there was no discussion or mentioning of an additional phone which i would have to pay an extra 54 pounds for.

:mad: :mad: I would suggest steer clear from them! I ordered on 31 December and the Handset quoted was free and that Network 3 would charge 1/2 price. IThis was confirmed by the letter I received with the Handset on Saturday.

However, not only does 3 state that they have NEVER offered 1/2 price line rental for first 3 months on the tariff (Video, Talk and Text 350), but I discovered that MobileClub7 have "stolen" £184 extra from my credit card.

I have spent HOURS on the phone to Mobileclub7 and Three. Rest Assured the phone is being returns Special Delivery ASAP and I have informed the credit card company.

All in All I will have lost out from ringing their 0871 number, sending the acknowledgment/acceptance by recorded delivery and the £6 Special Delivery charge to return it! Plus all the stress! NOT recommended!
