Hi, I was wondering if anybody has any experience with this company for their cashback redemption scheme. I've had a hunt through the forums but haven't found any mention on them. Just thought I would get some feedback on them before committing myself. Thanks.

  • Well managed to answer my own question after a bit more surfing. Mobileclub7 appear to be connected with Tulip - they use the same Park Royal address in London anyway. Tulip seem to have got a few mentions on here from people having problems getting money back from them - so I think I shall take the decision to look elsewhere for my cashback deal.
  • I'm tempted by a deal the've got which seems like it could be too good to be true. They have a 12 month contract with 800 anytime minutes and 500 texts a month plus a free N80. It is a 12 month contract and they're offering 12 months free line rental via credit back.

Has anybody used them for credit back deals in the past and are they reliable?
  • Was just wanting to know if anyone had ordered a w950i off MobileClub7 over the Christmas period when they were offering it as a free handset with 12 months free line rental on 3 and have actually received a phone?

They have been giving me the run around and are now stating that this was a technical problem on the website and they will not honour the order that I placed.

    Cheers

but the handset is not free. Moreover this company is not reputed so approach carefully.
  • on 02/01/07 when the order was placed, the website clearly stated that the handset was free. Given this price I am prepared to take a bit of a risk.
  • great deal, cant find it on the site though, handset is priced at £142 for 400 mins and 250 txts

i've just ordered the nokia 6280 for £48 on a 12 months free contract.
  • Mobile Club 7?
Never heard of the company before, be wary as to cashback offers like this!
  • Hi Ian

I ordered the 850i on New Year's Eve. It was also allegedly £0.00 with cashback on Three. My credit card has only had the £1 admin fee deducted (when I last checked), and thier prices has shot up for the same deal for £61+ for the handset (depending on contract and network). They are very hard to contact and allege they cannot ring you back. kmy phone has already arrived last week. It would have been tuesday (8th) but as I work I received it Saturday (13th).

I am concerned as other chatrooms suggest that one of their other companies - Tulip(UK) Ltd has caused people to take the to small claims to obtain their cashback. MobileClub7 is a trading name, and it not the limited company!

If you havent received the phone that may be a blessing in disguise. I'll let you know in 6 months time when I try to claim my first £87.50!

You should try and track your order (as per the automated email sent when the order was placed) using their site and see what it says, as it may list reasons for non-dispatch. Good Luck and I will check for your reply!

  • Im waiting for my Nokia 6280 i ordered for 48 pounds, it was meant to be free next day delivery but i called them up and was told due to an office change, they are gonna take more time to do the deliveries and do credit card checks, she also stated that i will be getting my phone by the end of this month!

    GRR!!
  • Friends, ALERT!!!
Above site is a cheap online mobile phone company usually directed via onecompare.com. The plans they have are excellent but I have been waiting 40 days now for the package.
So please do not make the mistake of ordering through this site as I am pretty sure by now that this company is full of s----.
