Is it like halls where you live in small little room with no space for your stuff?
If you dont live in a flat, what sort of home do you live in?
-how many rooms ??
-size of rooms ??
-garden ??
-what floor ??
-own or shared entrance ??
Some flats are big, some small.
It can be useful having garage/garden to store all the junk everyone accumulates along the way.
Space can be at a premium & you can run out of space.
Don't underestimate the space you need to live comfortably.
Once you start to furnish flat, get your possessions in, it can become cramped.
Unfortunately flats are being built like no tomorrow to cram people in.
I'm sure lot of people in flats would prefer more space.

All my goods fit into one room just now so there would be tons of room in whole flat.:beer:0

Can I just point out to any new readers of this thread, the OP and Title originally read something like...
What kind of home do you live in?
and listed several types of houses and so my answer to that was the above.

Mine has 3 huge double bedrooms, a very large lounge, big bathroom, long winding hallway and a spacious kitchen with a large south facing balcony leading off.. the sunsets are to die for.
Being 3 floors up and at the top means i have lots of privacy and gorgeous views too.
There is also a communal well kept garden and i have my own garage and shed.
Its an Art Deco purpose built block too with nearly all its original features.
There's a little poem on my pinboard, thought i'd share it with all flat dwellers out there..
Under One Small Roof
Under one small roof
My flat has everything
People around me
Solitude when needed
Noise and music
Peace and silence
Enough space for comfort
A cocoon to nestle in
Windows for sunshine
Curtains for privacy
Kitchen for working
Lounge for my leisure
Bathroom for soaking
Bedroom for dreaming
Pictures to gaze at
Books for my reading
Friends here are welcome
In my little haven
All this and more
Under one small roof!
I've lived in houses, both small and large... i'd rather have my flat any day.
Oh and i shop online for most things, so no carrying bags up and down stairs either
