I hope your son's problem is now sorted KEM.
I'm glad to say that I went out without my phones, and by the time I returned & switched them back on, the Virgin was working, and the Orange had stopped, so no long-term problems :T0 -
All sorted out eventually.
Not quite sure whether giffgaff kicked something or not but the Virgin SIM is no longer active and the giffgaff SIM can make and receive calls and texts. :j0
