to be honest my childish side takes over when i see how wound up people get (the non-mods who act like they are mod's by telling everyone else what to do) and have to make a big deal about not posting ANYTHING in the ticket thread that on those occasions where i usually wouldnt bother posting (relative or not) i do make a point of replying any chance i get. i am also the first to admit this is petty too. but its not done in a malicious way at all. far from it.
its just too many people take this board too seriously and i'v actually noticed that half the thread gets wiped, not just the supposed 'junk'.
i was looking for codes (over the w/e) for previews for this week (i know i saw some a few weeks back) and they had been removed (which i admit has been a major factor in my immaturaty over this whole matter)
thing is, it all still makes me laugh :rotfl:
ps
i hope you all realise that the only way you'll get everyone to NOT post in the ticket thread is by not allowing them. like maybe just a mod is allowed to post. a locked thread like.
but then again that creates more work for the mods and isnt that one of the issues?
....ho hum0 -

The thing is we all signed up to the rules/regs/guides. I have no problem with a newbie posting in the wrong place & being pointed in the right direction (gently!)...but there are guys deliberately posting in the wrong place in order to....?0 -
unfort... the King chimps on here dont feel the same! sob sob
please explain who you think are chimps....King or otherwise?0 -
This is my first post in this thread as I have a few points I wanted to share after taking some time to read all the previous comments.
1. Has anyone noticed the herd mentality of some of those posters in this thread?
2. Has anyone noticed the hypocrisy of these same posters who have actually made personal attacks about AngelUndercover and then have the audacity to accuse her of bullying? Yeah, let's all gang up on her.
3. I for one have benefited greatly from the freebie ticket thread and I will be the first to admit it. I have seen close to 20 films in the last 11 months without having to pay a cent and I have AngelUndercover to thank for quite a few of them. Cheers to all the kind people who have shared codes and details for the screenings.
4. It appears that the point of refraining from discussion on the sticky is over many peoples heads/too difficult to understand. Perhaps someone would explain the fact that many of us who do subscribe to the thread receive multiple email notices from a variety of, what may/may not be (it's a matter of opinion) less useful posts (for want of a better phrase).
5. I remember the discussion of a few months ago about the sticky having a first page that could be updated on a regular basis. Whatever happened to that idea? Labman's idea of a sub-board for the sticky is a good one in my opinion.
Those are my thoughts.
Now, before the abusers turn their attention to me  .......and before the wife realises that my valentine's surprise involves rugby..... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:if you don't have anything nice to say, keep schtum.

Does anyone have any other codes for Peter Pan? The 314866 code is full and the 696969 code is incorrect. I have done a trawl through the threads but haven't managed to come up with anything. Just thought you good people might know something I don't!
Thanks.0 -
I've never seen a preview and not sure how to go about it but if anyone knows of anything in Newcastle STAFFORDSHIRE, not north, please can you let me know.
Thanks in advance. The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -
Witchyroo, perhaps you are one of those people for whom things tend to pass over heads. The 696969 code was a joke. Good choice of thread to ask your question on, though!0

Is that the one that's Newcastle-under-Lyme? When I see that place-name, I wonder where it is. Sometimes there's previews listed for the Vue cinema in Newcastle-under-Lyme but I've not seen one recently. Hope to help.0 -

some people on here think two threads are a great idea and some dont. simple as. its matter of opinion really thats got out of hand - myself included as a guilty party, purely for not caring how wound up people were getting at 'so and so is full' being posted as i personally think its helpful to know.
people just need to chill.
if someone posts in a wrong place then its up to mod's to decide and move it and i'm sure most would listen a lot more after seeing their posts moved a couple of times than being yelled at by the 'who do you think YOU are's'hilary1 wrote:I've never seen a preview and not sure how to go about it but if anyone knows of anything in Newcastle STAFFORDSHIRE, not north, please can you let me know.
