Great idea labman but i think there would be the same problem with many people being unable to comprehend the difference between an offer and a question or comment i.e. discussion.

Take your point but we have to try & resolve the nonsense that has being going on somehow!....especially the guys who seem to take delight in posting deliberately/knowingly (....you know who you are!) in the wrong place.

Either that or set a minimum IQ requirement for posting anything at all.

I don't think it's anything to do with IQ...just certain people being silly for the sake it ....perhaps!

i think there are the people who are being silly because they are fed up of the people who can't get it right, and then there are some people who just can't seem to understand.

maybe it could be set up as some kind of form to fill out rather than the current inviting-looking white box.... i.e. you just type the code, which site it's on, film, date and time, and venues, or whatever. No space for random mutterings. Probably too complicated and no doubt someone would find a way to squeeze a little "SHEFFIELD FULL!!" in there somewhere.

I keep looking at the cinema ticket thread and it is full of people angry that other people are posting stuff in there, and so it continues.

Ever heard of ignore it and it will go away.

It really isn't that important, honest

It was before, they all got moved in here earlier today. I'm commenting on the stuff I'm reading in the ticket thread in here cos it will clutter it up in there.

I'm sorry. I just found it amusing that there are people using that thread to moan about other people using that thread. I still do.

I know you are discussing how to sort it, and good luck to you.

I can't help thinking that the mod will just move posts when they spot them and the rest of us can just take a deep breath and have a cuppa.

I'm gonna do what the wise people do an just lurk for a while.

Unfortunately as per a previous mod post the irrelevant posts are causing a problem...so why do people who should know better still keep posting in 'the wrong place' ?
