I saw Superbad last night at Cineworld in Wandsworth. Some bits were quite funny, although the majority of the film was sick humor!! Filthy language, porngraphic material and crap acting. It was the second free cinema event I took my mother too and we were both really excited about going.
But OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I was soooo embarrassed.... although she is opened minded, I wanted to squeeze myself into the fluff between the seats at the "jokes" and various scenes...some involving blood (those who have seen it know what i mean) YUCK YUCK!!!!
And to put the icing on the cake the cinema was not full. There was loads of empty seats.
I am dying to The Kingdom with Jamie Fox, so if any body has got a ticket for Wandsworth and have no intension of going GIMME GIMME GIMME!!!

I'm watching 3:10 to Yuma tonight and Superbad on Thursday!
Cant wait for either.
May i just ask the people that are complaining about Superbad?
1. Are you over 40?
2. Did you watch the trailer before getting your FREE tickets?
3. Did you read the reviews before watching this?
Im sorry but it seriously !!!!es me off when people say - oh it was rude, it was vulgar, it was this and it was that.
Well if you read the reviews, previews and watched the trailers, you could have concluded the nature of this movie without b***ching about it.
And not to mention that there are people out there who really wanted to watch this movie knowing full well what it was about.
So you managed to sucker up 2 FREE seats that left true fans in waiting.
And i agree in some circumstances a movie can be poor (that would be when you do not do your research and go in expecting the unexpected) but this movie has been given an IMDB 8.5 with over 25.000 user ratings and based of them ratings, i reckon it's a good flick for this type of so called "sick" humour.
Next time, don't just get trigger happy for the sake of the tickets being free - do some research before you watch it.

So no-one is allowed a different opinion? Expressing your own opinion is harldly b***ing is it? FYI, the cinema was half empty.0 -
The trailer looked quite funny, and I quite like sick humour and was expecting to enjoy it. However some scenes in that movie were disgusting, and the constant swearing did nothing for the film.
How can you be a true fan of something you've never seen? The only thing I research is debt management and healthy eating. Films aren't that serious for me.Getting there... A deal at a time. :T0 -
Excuse me Mr/Mrs Sho_me_da_money, I am well under 40, I no-longer watch trailers as they generally show the good bits of the whole entire film...so there's not much point in watching it.
This forum I thought was for discussion (Free Cinema Tickets - Discussion only thread)...so I was doing just that. Discussing a film. Insulting people is not necessary.
By the way does anyone wanna give away 2 tickets to "The Kingdom with Jamie Fox" in Wandsworth. Desperate "trigger happy" girl wants to see it and not pay... ha ha ha

I went to the Glasgow, Cineworld showing of Superbad last night. To be honest, I thought the film was quite good. Never really found any part of it disgusting, it was the kind of sick humour that I was expecting.0

does anyone else think it's strange that the SeeFilmFirst showing of RFR is on Thursday this week when you can see it from thursday anyway?
The cinema I'm going to has even got a paying showing at 6.15pm - pretty much the same time as the "preview". Surely some mistake?
Oh and Superbad was pretty damn funny, for the record.0 -
Hi
If anyone has tickets for Run fatboy run at The Empire in Newcastle on Thursday and can no longer make it, I would be happy to take them off your hands.
Thanks in anticipation
Julie
