I just find it irritating having to sift through twaddle when there is a much easier way to do it, especially as tickets go so quicky.
I didn't realise it was a sarcastic one, sorry, it came across to me as looking more hopeful, in that I was hopeful someone would be able to help me with a trade. certainly not intended to offend, I agree with your point, thats why I listed my request as above. Its very irritating to have to go through loads of blah, blah just to get what you need, which is code, film name, list of theatres.Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."

shOa16 yes just take the printed ticket with you, i never been asked for any ID, but i alway have a bank card with me used in case.0

I went to see Hallam Foe in Didsbury last night and the screen was empty - seriously, fewer than 25 people were there. Though I guess there have been lots of ticket offers around for that film.
I would especially like to thank the helpful lady at the back who kept a running commentry going throughout the film, and occasionally shouted out answers to characters' questions, removing what I'm sure would otherwise have been horrible, suspensful silences on the screen.0 -
Is it me, or do more morons attend previews than other films? Any one that has used Preview tickets to Sheffield Odeon cannont fail to have fallen victim at some time or other to the young couple who bring their less than 2 year old baby and their sandwiches in tin foil to these screenings. The baby is pacified whilst eating his tea, but becomes crotchety when it gets tired, eventually crying itself to sleep on the floor - then we can all settle down and watch the last bit of the film in peace!0

if your watching a PG there is nothing you can do about the babies providing the parents have paid or the baby is exempt, but if its anything 12 and over then they are breaking the law and you should politely remind the cinema of it, I used to work in a cinema and I wouldn't allow babies in to screenings above their age, but I know some people felt uncomfortable about challenging the parents especially if it was a baby who wouldn't even be able to watch the film and the parents where getting irate, but its still against the law regardless how old the baby is if its younger than the film rating!0
