I offered a pair of London West End tickets for Hallam Foe yesterday, as I couldn't attend. I was surprised that no-one on this site wanted them. A real waste.

that bugs me too, when we went to the screening of Knocked Up although there was a lot of people there, it was obvious that there where a lot that hadn't bothered and yet all the tickets where gone, it doesn't take 2 seconds for people to email them and say they can't go so people who can make it get tickets!

    xx
  • I went to the preview for Disturbia tonight and was the same half empty in cinema
Shame when people cannto get tickets as people have got them that don't go just becuase they are free doesn't mean get them with little intention of going
Debt free, except mortgage since 2021
    49,000 to go
  • Went for Disturbia screening on Wednesday night at Norwich. The place was quite filled up. I was with a friend and arrived just on time and it was difficult to locate two seats together. Finally got them on the 5th row from front.
The movie was good, nice thriller. Just that sometimes you feel the plot is little loose. Overall worth a watch with your girl friend, hopefully she will cling to your arms in most of the thrilling scenes.

i went to see hallam foe tonight- it was a fairly decent film (for free) lol probably wouldn't have paid to see it though- cinema was packed though! just wondering does anyone know if the only screenings you can get free tickets for at Cineworld- Middlesbrough are the ones associated with Galaxy radio film club because they only have one screening a month whereas all the other cinemas across the country seem to be having loads of screenings :(
  • we went to see Disturbia yesterday and really enjoyed the film! There were precisely 14 people in the whole cinema ! ..and would you believe the last 4 in wanted to sit right next to us and sat and eat there dinner ( half a loaf each!!! - you know who you are !!!!!) It seemed such a waste of a good film being so empty.
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)
  • With the risk of sounding like an !!!, does it annoy anyone else when they have to read a lo\d babble to get film codes on the FCT thread?

I quite like the way I do it, e.g.,

    Film:

    Date:

    Time:

    Location:

    Code:

    etc.

I hate having to read through, "I came across this code on blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah Atonement blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah 644848 blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah"

Maybe I'm just having a bad day :D
  • I'm so mad I missed the "Run Fatboy Run" screening in Manchester!! Does anyone know of any other codes I can try?? I tried Filmfirst 842262.
  • Try again tomorrow morning. I think they release these tickets in batches.

What's the  for? I was talking about the codes thread, not this one.

I just find it irritating having to sift through twaddle when there is a much easier way to do it, especially as tickets go so quicky.
