Bliming CURRYS whats a SPUR POINT?

hello
is it worth asking the OP for the make and model of the oven/cooker/stove/furnace so that someone can advise SPECIFICALLY what is required in this case? It may be that it can be plugged in but I doubt that any retailers "£30 installation" would include providing a socket/connection adjacent to where the appliance is going. Similarly they would not run copper pipe and connection taps to a washing machine where there was no existing provision. I would imagine a lot of people would appreciate paying 30 quid for 2 men to remove the existing appliance, unwrap new one and dispose of packaging, lift it into place and 'just plug it in' even if all connections were already there. As has already been pointed out I am sure the T&Cs would state the limits of the installation service0
