I quite often swap meals around to different days during the week depending on what we are doing.
Before I do my plan I check the fridge, freezer & cupboards for what needs using up that week.
It gets easier:DTry to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
Good afternoon
Well, here’s the plan for next week, thanks mainly to Campbells, Sacla sauce and the reduced counter. However, as my first grandchild is due on Thursday this may well not be how it all happens!
Monday Sausage, bacon and egg
Tuesday LO sausages and savoury rice
Wed Pork tenderloin with mushrooms and red wine
Thurs Chicken pie
Friday “picky” tea – anything from freezer or fridge that can be eaten with fingers!
Saturday Chilli
Sunday Roast salmon with lime and coriander
Have a good week everyone

Phew!:D
Yup, should've checked the fridge first and I'd have seen that the eggs needed used ...... (I don't seem to have had them that long and thought they had another week or so left - however, at least I've made the discovery now!)
DM's just been on the phone to say she's got me some kidneys (one of my favourite things:)) from the butcher (she's coming to visit tomorrow) so that'll be the Chilli staying in the freezer and kidneys instead!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Ok, this should be quite easy as i'm on holiday this week (woohoo) and have various things planned, so i'm not actually at home a lot.
Monday - college (will have a sandwich before I go)
Tuesday - staying at my sisters
Wednesday - possibly going out with my brother. If not, i'll find something when I get back. Might do quesadilla as nice and quick
Thursday - college (I am meeting a friend for lunch so will have something then)
Friday - spending the day with my dad, so might eat there depending how long I annoy him for
Saturday - staying at a friends, so hopefully I will be fed
Sunday - cottage pie with green beans (which doesn't involve much cooking as i've frozen a previous batch, so just need to add mash).
Tough week!Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100
