If the performance of the Fischer Future Heat heaters is the same as a £40 oil filled radiator, then they are worth £40 each.

Never looked at it from that angle. I stand corrected.

If you paid for it by credit, contact your credit provider. Also point out the ASA rulings. If you believe you were mislead the credit company should do something about it.

Another heater on eBay, this is what the seller says....My grandma decided to buy this at £1800 thinking it would plug into her economy 7. But the place where she lives only has hard wired heaters and cookers on economy 7.

To me its quite obvious the heating engineer/salesman failed to make GRANDMA aware of the above fact.

    This is my opinion.

I can't see how cookers are wired into EC7, do they only cook their dinner before 7am? :o

But yes the Grandma would have been told they work with EC7.

You may be absolutely correct. Then my opinion is wrong. In any case the person selling it on ebay says he only has E7. And we all know these are not storage heaters or are they, and maybe he warms his dinner on these heaters. :) I don't know, I was just pointing out the price he paid.

It looks like Fischer Future Heat have been instructed yet again by the Advertising Standards Authority to withdraw their advertising material ... see

ASA Adjudication on Fischer Future Heat UK Ltd A14-268600 September 2014

Eight of the nine complaints made against Fischer Future Heat were upheld.
    - misleading advertising
    - substantiation
    - exaggeration.

How many people have bought from Fischer Future Heat on the basis of this information, especially pensioners who can ill afford the expense and worry of these mis-described, overpriced imported products.

Here is another one, this time GRANDAD bought one and up for sale on ebay ....this is what it says...This heater has been hardly used, we have been forced to sell as granddad going into a care home. Cost when new was £1,450.
