Harrogate weekend

I am looking to to visit Harrogate for a weekend in November with DH and am having trouble finding decent priced accomodation. I appreciate Harrogate isn't cheap but would be grateful for any recommendations. Thanks.

Try www.innkeeperslodge.com, they can have good offers. Premierinn starts from £39 per night.

Harrogate is nortoriously expensive, 'specially Saturday nights.

Just to allay maybe some costs, join the slug and lettuce newsletter and you get £10 off a £20 spend for drink and food.

Or Eat there on a Monday and all food is half price.

Look for bed and breakfast rather than hotels.

Harrogate for any particular reason, York is 100% better. Been there today and its brilliant.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

York is cheaper and bigger, Harrogate posher :) Possibly you can find cheaper hotel in Leeds, only 9miles from Harrogate.
I love Harrogate, though, yes, it is expensive.

Contact the Harrogate Tourist Information for a full list of Hotels, Guest houses & B&B's all inspected & it displays the rates.
Harrogate's a great place to stay & close to travel through to York & Leeds for days out if you wish.

Harrogate and York and both really nice places - we prefer York and find it more interesting with lots of character. Saying that Harrogate is very nice as well!

Another vote here for Innkeeper's Lodge.
Try the West Harrogate one as the "East Harrogate" one is in Knaresborough.
They have a 3 nights for the price of 2 offer on the website so you should be able to get B&B for 2 people for a 3 night weekend for a total of £156.
  • Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. Sister and her hubbie want Harrogate - for expensive shops I think! May look at York and offer them alternatives.

Is the West Harrogate innkeepers lodge within walking distance to the centre?
