None of my ebay items sold so I'll keep them aside for when I get the opportunity to do a car boot!
Just cooked a vat of spag bol, made 15 portions so thats stocked up the freezer, just chilling before I disappear for an early night ready for another busy week. Hoping to stack up the NSD's as cash is running very low, I'm sure I'll be dipping into that cash I saved at some point but putting it off as long as possible.Santander 0% £1,529.94

Hi gang,
Spent nothing so far and been good on the canteen allowance today as hoping to make it last all week - if not I do have tuna and bread to make sarnies.
If I dont dip into the cash I saved I have £6.99 to live off the rest of the month which I doubt will be possible however, going to try and spend zilch for as long as possible as I really want that cash saved at the end of the month!! I don't have anything planned between now and payday other than a houseparty which I have a bottle of wine on the rack that I'll take.
Pay day is a week on weds...
Post Office DD due to go out this week which will take me to below £12k! Can't wait to hit that milestone.Santander 0% £1,529.94

Wow, £6.99 is tight. That's less than £1 a day.
I do think if anyone can do it though, it's you and even if you do have to dip into your ebay earnings I'm sure it won't be by much.
Going under £12k will be a great incentiviser as well :T (is that a word?).0 -
Sorry have been awol for a while - just need more time to read.
Have been working hard at Facebook games and going out with friends - tut tut.
I'm not going to catch up properly yet but a quick glance shows me two of you with congratulations on order. :j:j:j Sooooo well done both of you!

(Hoping some of it will rub off on me, LOL. DD passed her GCSE Maths yesterday which is fab as it no longer stands in the way of her going to Uni - so maybe between the three of you, Miggy will finally get down to the neglected NVQ.)
(Or maybe not... have been offered a couple more shifts at work though so maybe I will get some more 'evidence' in. One is a weekend so I may be able to get it signed off by a particular weekend member of staff who did my first piece of work and I know he gives useful feedback).
Sorry, thinking aloud... need to go now, off to Mum's then working for the next three nights... see you when I emerge!
Och don't get drowned and overtly stressed out @Ma's...
Hugs Miggy and the rest of the gang

I always list my items at a price I think is acceptable for them and keep re-listing them on free listing weekends - no work, other than a click - easy!
I figure that there'll be someone out there who wants it but it may be that they just don't want it that particular week. It's the reason I try not to list at 99p as well, if one person will pay £50 but nobody else is interested there's nobody to bid them up to the £50...
Maybe worth a re-think? At a car boot you'll be wanting to get rid of items so you don't have to take anything home with you - at any price!!6k in 2012: £4200.00/£6000.00

I was about to say the same thing as trixie4. There's another diary I read and she just keeps relisting until they sell. Is it free to relist if you've had no takers? May be worth considering as there's not much happening out there in mid January. I think everyone feels the pinch at this time of the year/month. Even though I feel a bit more comfortable than usual, I'm only buying necessities (other than a blow out on food today!!!)
But whatever you decide to do, good luck with it. I hope you get what you're looking for.0 -
I have a pile of stuff to ebay but holding out until February - everyone's feeling the pinch after Christmas so not buying , or listing their unwanted pressies!"Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo

It's interesting what folk are saying about ebay. I have a heap of stuff to list but haven't got round to it yet but will hold out till February at the earliest.
All I have listed right now is starbucks cards. My postage is a bit high but then like I am sending them recorded first/second class

Hi all,
Thanks for the tips on ebay, I'll keep the listings for the next free listings weekend then stick them back up. They're all fairly priced and I wouldnt want to accept anything less so will have another go!
NSD yesterday
I have taken £15 from my saved cash and put in my current account as a buffer as Im budgeted to the penny and dont want a DD to bounce should something be taken early. I can always put it back on payday.
I looked at spending diary for last week, spent too much on food when I was working late and weekends - mcdonalds, wagamama, boots meal deal x2 so no wonder I've nothing left. But I didnt know I was working late those nights so I couldnt really plan ahead for sandwiches... the weekends I should have planned for better thats my fault.
I'm going to defrost my bread tonight then bring in the bread, tuna and mayo to keep in the fridge here so I can make them as I need them this week.
I have just had the confirmation through for the booking of my next CIMA courses and booked all the time off - there goes 15 days holiday!!! I'm lucky my boss sees these exams as my priority so he is relaxed about me being out of the office when I need to be.Santander 0% £1,529.94

I am bidding on two textbooks that go with 2 of 3 of my next courses. I do get books with my course but they're huge and I like to study at work and home, they're only 99p so it would be worth it to have one set at work and one at home. Plus I can read up on the course before I start which always helps....
Few mins to go, hope my PC refreshes quick enough for me to beat any last minute bidders!!!Santander 0% £1,529.94
