  • You would think huh!

Ah yes, I did consider HSBC when I switch from Halifax (evil!) not sure why I didn't go with them to be honest. Nationwide online banking is good apart from when you make payments you must have your card and a reader to be able to process it, so this week when I (cleverly) left my card at the folks I couldnt make any payments until I got it back today - it did help with the NSD's though! :)

  • Another day, another dollar... or not in my case!

This morning started at 4:45am with an early morning ride on a lovely horse I help out with - completely free so can enjoy guilt free :) after a blast around the park and a natter with fellow riding buddy I headed off to work full of zest for the day.... until a stinking cold set in!

Today is looking good for another NSD which will be another £10 in the pot for Saturday, my bank card no longer lives in my purse so I really am giving myself no choice but to be good, last night it did feel good taking the £10 for yesterday I hadn't spent and putting it in the pot..... I only hope that feeling lasts or I have no hope!

Lunch and Brekky both eaten at work in with my allowance and dinner is pasta and sauce which is already in the fridge having been bought on Tuesday. Another trip in the sunshine to dear old Nationwide today to pay in the remaining coin bags which they sent me away with yesterday.

Tomorrow brings another early start so quiet night this evening is planned and straight home from work forfeiting all temptation to spend. Even walking the 5 mins to the bank just now made me realise how easy it is to waste money around here. Just from my office to the station the amount of clothes shops, electrionics shops, cosmetics, food... you name it, it's there. The world sure ain't making it easy to avoid temptation but that's where I need to change and hopefully that will come more naturally soon and I can stop being the crazy gril staring at the pavement!

    That's all for now!

PS - I had the name changed just in case someone I knew was to read this as it is my nickname and they could easily guess it was me :)

  • Always the way when the weather changes, a cold sets in. Plenty of vitamin C and the nights in will help.

I was on track for an NSD today too, but I paid for recorded next day delivery when I sent back my PPI reclaim letter. I figured it'll be worth it when the money comes in nice and quick, and they have to have the letter by a set date to honour the offer, I don't want to not get the money because of something silly like it getting lost in the post.

That's it for today though. I've brought my lunch in to work (spag bog - mmmm) and have dinner in the fridge already. Gym then bed. That's my lot tonight!
