Do you live near one of 'The Gym Group' gyms?

I told F1tn355 1st where to stick it when they tried to up my already pricey membership to nearly £50. Now I pay £15 and I have everything I need.

PS, let me know if you do, I'll send another referral :)

I know you mentioned saving up your paypal to get to £20, but just remember they don't pay you interest so you're kind of losing out!

p.s. yes I know the interest on such a small amount would be pitiful but paying it off your card straight away should save you a couple of pennies (and every little helps!)

Yeah i do! I used to be a member there but I'm even worse at going to the gym when it's nearer home than work! I do agree they're brilliant value I never use a pool or classes anyway

Thanks, if i change my mind I will but I'm quite enjoying the running outdoors ... I might change my mind as it get colder!

Good point fuzzy bear!! I'll wait until the end of the month as I won't incur any extra interest between now and then as I've just had my statement then if I earn any more I can chuck it all at it

    Cheers :)

    Evening all,

Came home to a nice newsletter from boots advantage card with some vouchers, some I'll definitely use, others I wont, like the 400 points when you spend £40 and 500 points when you spend £50, I don't want to be spending that much in boots in the near future but I'll hold onto them just in case.

Today has been a NSD :D That's a tenner in the Thorpe Park pot!

Tomorrow won't be as I've run out of a few things, so Im going to go to Waitrose on my way home and get what I need plus a carrot and courgette to have with some of that chicken for Thursdays and Friday tea! Should still spend less than my £10 though easily.

It's the Pride of Britain Awards tonight which I love. I do however, have the kleenex handy as I blub my way through it every year!

Up at 5am tomorrow to go horse riding, I think Id like the lie in but I haven't been yet this week so feel bad!

Just set out my revision plan - or used the one in the textbook. To cover the syllabus I have 56 questions to complete by the time I break up for my weeks study leave prior to the exam, that's about 3-40 hours work by Nov 16th which is only 6 weeks away so I pretty much need to do an hour a day and more on weekend if possible then that'll leave me time to focus on mock exams in the final week! GAH!

I think I need to track this on my signature so I can keep on top of it!

  • Afternoon all,

Hope Thursday is treating everyone well.

A good day so far, lovely ride in the park on a beautiful young horse who I just wanted to steal and ride off into the sunrise (it was still dark when we set out!) a productive morning at work with some training on an area of work which I will be looking after from hereon in which I'm pleased about as its a nice juicy bit!

Had an invite to my yearly lunch in Nov for the place I ride - always a good do so I need to save about £30 as we pay upfront, this includes 3 course meal, wine, cheese, port and the bar following the lunch is dirt cheap so will just need to put money aside ready for that, I don't have much planned for Nov other than my exam so I will allow myself this social occasion!

No spending so far I do plan to go to the supermarket on the way home and buy washing powder tablets and orange squash as I have run out but will still come in easily under my £10.

    Have a good one team!

Ah good! I wanted to let all this month's DD's go out before doing it so then I could actually show it going down!
