Had a fab day today in our bright new shiney store, i knew they would be on the ball with prices, and knew there would be no cheap socks etc.

So i went with daughter to see what we could get, as last week, through the post we'd got £10 off a £30 spend, plus i had the £5 off a £40 spend.

DD has a baby girl 9 months, and guess what i found, 2 of the fisher price bounce and spin zebras, both pink, dd has a s-i-l who has a 1 year old and was looking for a christmas present.
These were priced up at £30 each i asked for it to be scanned and price came up at £20.

Left daughter with the 2 in trolley and went and doubled up £5 for £10

Went to till, total was £40, used my £5 off, then my £10 off then my £10 off result, 2 bounce and spins for £15.

2nd shop, daughter wanted some clothes for little one, told her get what she wanted up to £40, whilst i went and Got a £5 doubled up into £10, had the same other vouchers, so got £40 worth of clothes for £15.

Then went back again and got grandson 2 games for his wii and got a cheap dvd for s-i-l total was £30 used my £10 off a £30 spend got them for £20.

So i was really pleased with my shopping today.

    But

My old steam generator iron has broke it's leaking water, so i now have to buy one, there's one in tesco, but our shop didn't have it, i'll try another one tomorrow, and see how i get on if not i'll have to get it from argos as it's badly needed.

Right off to look back and see what you lot have been up to.

What's the glitch with the rock star game...............or something

    thanks.

  • Hi All,

So, feeling a little deflated, and in need for a glitch, off i trop to another store.... managed to find 2 of the bathrobes - Thankyou to you all who helped out with the barcode via the Hubby..... Hes a good un bless him. lol.
there were also a few other bathrobes, same packaging, same price, same AW10 code, just different barcode as i think they were a differnt colour... Grey rather than navy... has anyone checked these yet??... they dont have a SS at the one i was at so couldnt check.. gonna risk going through SS tomorrow morning with them and try my luck.... if they do scan cheaper... does anyone want me to grab them one?? - feel like i owe you all big time after all the support and advice you have given me recently.... Got some 4p Playboy trunks today that I don't think have been mentioned. They were on a hanger and not in a packet or on a clip strip. White waistband, red trunks and white clouds & stars with red hearts & lips inside them. I can upload a photo and barcodes if this is a new one.
