  • just home now... shattered.. what a day........

OH managed to get a 'top up' on his loan ... so getting there now... just have to budget... more than ever.

This is sooooo off topic, but i know how you lovely lot are so helpful, and i thought you might know.... if not, then ill post it over on another thread... not quite sure where though... lol

Basically, we are due to pay the last months rent on this property... we have the money, but were thinking of using it to pay for the deposit on the new house instead.. then paying for the rent that is owed on this one, with the deposit we paid when we first moved in.... (if that makes sense at all...???)

Will this (rent arrears in effect) affect our chances of getting the new property, or will it not matter as we will have already put the deposit down??

thanks for any help in advance.. Love you guys!

DS has just walked into my office (It's at home!!) with his 4p pyjamas on and commented that their comfy but he wouldnt let his friends see him in them:rotfl: He's another one that puts his jimmys on the minute he gets home. Can't put mine on yet as I have a bit of shopping to do;););)and I'm not even testing the choccie glitch, it permanently feels like xmas in my house with all the chocolate about and I am just rubbish at resisting it!

    Aghhhh!

    Had a DTD not honoured.

Picked up the Baby Bouncer £35 with the half price £17.50 sticker.

After 2 discussing it was decided that as the sticker was for Toy Sale it must have been put on by another customer as it is not a toy.

Mainly meant as it was the sort of comment my OH would make, and most men don't have the maternal, mummsy side that seems to come out in a lot of us on here, especially with Happy chappy;););) I suspect most of us want to mother him, no comments please KT:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Doesn't bother me in the slightest.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

    Hi all

Haven't read back yet......... think I have about 5 pages to catch up on

Just a quick question for you all ..... I am going to do my regular weekly shop in a while (to the store that has no scanners ). I will be, however, armed with a small :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: list of barcodes. If I find any of the 4p items I am looking for, should I just put them through with my weekly shop or should I go to self scanner with them first?

    TIA :)

(I know I could go to the store with scanners but the layout is totally different and I end up spending more walking up and down every aisle IYKWIM)
If at first you don't succeed ........ ;) Alternative autism therapies should be free!!

Couldn't find the DJ hero in one store and in the other it had 3 different prices (one for wii, 360 and ps3-that was £35) and couldn't get the forum up on my phone so left it :(

Still not found any 4p items but did treat me and the kids a popping elf chocolate each :D

yes...thats right...they've all got different prices but should all scan at 79.99 (or thereabouts)...so if one of them is priced on the SEL as a lower amount, it will scan at the higher amount, thus you would get DTD!

From being on here it seems different regions have different prices on certain items (even here 2 stores 2 miles apart charged 7.50 and £10 for the same salter scales!).....so its just a case of trial and error :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Personally I'd say put them through the self scanner with a few other bits first. SA's do seem to be taking them off people unless you get a nice one;)
