    No i was being realistic the amount of male friends i have who won't go the doctor, vastly outweighs the females who will.

    Mainly meant as it was the sort of comment my OH would make, and most men don't have the maternal, mummsy side that seems to come out in a lot of us on here, especially with Happy chappy;););) I suspect most of us want to mother him, no comments please KT:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Never had a till spit/conditional spend other than the fiver off clothes. Any suggestions on why this might be?

    I don't think you get them on the Self Scan Tills, I tend to get the odd one if I've just popped into Mr T's for a couple of things & I haven't been using my clubcard lately, we usually use my Mum's for the family shop.

    Nephew bought a couple of things (mouthwash & biscuits)in his lunch hour the other day & has a keyfob for my clubcard & got £3 off when you spend £20, haven't trained him well enough he threw the receipt away so I can't price check it.

    And to the poster that was asking about the price of my OH.... might do an auction, whoever has the highest bid...

    hes handy at loads of things, DIY etc... lol. - also quite a good little savvy MSEer in training too... he was the one that spotted the 342 on the go cook knives aaages ago.

    plus he has a great bum!!! hahah :o
    :cool::rotfl: Oh that's just clinched it then, give me a shout when the bidding commences.
    I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

    The food tray with a leaf pattern is scanning at 1p. I was behind a customer in Tesco this morning who was politely refused by the SA as she said that all 1p items had to be reported to the supervisor who immediately called someone to clear the shelves. I think the SEL price is £4.75 as the customer went and got a similar one which scanned at that price.

    Lots of Green & Black's 24 mini choc bars with no SEL, but scanning at £2.50, bbe 3/12. These are the chocs in the see-through box previously mentioned, and not the 'tasting' box which are £8.00.

    The pantene brunette scans at £3.97 now.

    Lucky to be here as after months of guessing, finally called in British Gas who promptly disconnected our gas as we had a massive gas leak due to rusted pipes (some bits even came off in his hands when he touched it). He was surprised that our house wasn't blown up or we hadn't noticed the massive gas bill (thought £250 - £400 per quarter for the cooker, oven and gas central heating was normal :o).

    :eek::eek::eek::eek:

    Isn't all the meat halal there (except pork, obviously!)?

    Remember reading something about it recently on the forum somewhere.

    Apparently almost all New Zealand lamb is halal, no idea why. What annoys me is that most of the time we don't have a choice as we don't know what we are eating
