SNAP!!! Just as it was getting interesting. I wanted to know where the huge stash of stuff is the guy with the Polar Bear pic was talking about :D
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

I never answer the front door unless I know who it is, once the door is open they can push their way in or have an acomplise waiting out of sight. I go in the front room knock on the window & ask them what they want & jut say we don't buy anything at the door and wave them away. I'm young & strong but I'm trying to teach all my elderly neighbours to do the same & to lock their back doors.

I also tell them when they get a phone call that says "Hello Mrs Smith" they shouldn't confirm whether they are or not just say who is calling & not feel they have to get into a conversation if someone is selling something. Also with widows, if they get a call asking for Mr Smith likewise they shouldn't say he's dead or there isn't one but who is calling. The caller may be checking to see if they live alone.

Its horrible we have to live like this these days but you can't be too careful. Sermon over :)

No need to apologise for the sermon. After a few other bad experiences I sadly now make myself mistrust anyone that appears on the doorstep. however plausible, until I'm sure who they are. I'm sure there must be a lot of people who go away from my door thinking I'm a grumpy old g+t. How often do we hear of people being conned by very nice people?

Verylittlehelps is an interesting site. Is it just for Tesco staff?
Notice that Storck regularly posts there too!

Might give us a wee bit of insight into the goings on?!

  • Just found this thread on the main Grabbit board: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3590285

Barbara Daly makeup in T's is 3for2, but the offer isn't coming off, so with DTD cost = 3for1 more or less (depending on prices of what you buy).

    It's only a game

Its really annoying, i was really enjoying reading it, its like the trouts version of this site, trouts moaning about customers instead of us moaning about trouts is funny! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Can anyone join it???

I bought the ex Robert Welch knives a couple of years ago but I have to say the knives that were glitching a few months ago are even better - the Professional ones in the flat block. Big thanks to my mum for managing to get them as my locals weren't glitching

Off topic, DS2 got his first teeth last week, crawled for the first time tonight and as a reward got his first baby cookie! Amazing what can happen in a week.

  • Went to another T's after LO's nap and managed to get 2 pairs of the men's pjs for 4p each. Also found the chuggerton train sets, sorry was only 2 and I got both. Got 4 packs of the 4+2 plenty kitchen towels. Scanned a few other bits, such as the women's black patent shoes and the men's leather ones, unfortunately they scanned at the correct price instead of 4p. Oh well, can't really complain.
I hate twitches, but I LOVE glitches!!!
