Sunshine...I'm with Artha on this one...you said you'd left it on the side....is this near a window or door? My sister left her handbag on the side in the kitchen last year...(her kitchen is at the back of the house...you'd have to walk up the drive to get to it..and can see the drive from the front window)...someone walked up,opened the back door...took her bag which had her iphone, camera & purse in
....all because she'd left the back door unlocked and was busy playing on the living room floor so didnt notice someone walking up the drive! Theres plenty of chancers out there and it worries me that this is wats happened to you - maybe worth phoning police just in case?
Also Artha....we decided to have an outdoor postbox fitted when the dog chewed and ate £50 in notes which arrived with my birthday cardgutted didnt even come close !
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
Just read this on the knife thread
Just went back to Middleton store to get another knife block and they had all gone, and I was the one that posted the deal :rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway, there was another knife block there.
It is a PRESTIGE 8 piece knife block set (barcode 5 000263 560759)
This is the same one on Tesco Direct at £45.00 http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.210-0652.aspx ...
... and it scanned at £5.50 :j:j0 -

dont think we will find it now..... dont think we were robbed, no one has been around to the house other than the next door neighbour first thing, but im sure i saw the money after that... no one can get to the back of our house, and the conservatory doors were locked.. i left it, either on the sofa, where i changed my (£1 lol) jeans quicly before going out, or on the fireplace.....
stupid me... cancelled the contents insurance,... we dont have much, especially of value.. so didnt think we would need it..... was trying to scrimp and save in any way we could to get this money so cancelled it..... stupid stupid Sunshinestar!!!!!Proud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -

aww thats awful, poor things!
I think if we had a leak or a fire, there wouldnt be much loss.. like i said, we really dont have much... the biggest loss would be our beds... ive been in worse financial situations before where i have actually had to sell my bed to make ends meet... anyway, i didnt really think of that at the time, just saw it as saving us £20 a month.... stupid i know!Proud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -

Hi you said in your first post you got to tescos and found out you had no money in your purse. But in this post you say after your neighbour went you saw the money.so did you loose £600 or your purse and where abouts did you have the £600 in your house/purse when you say it was there after your neighbour went. I just think if you works backwoods you can sometimes remember were you put it.0 -
Is it in your jeans you changed out of? Just a thought. Washing machine is a favourite hiding place in our house at the mo, or the laundry basket. Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0
