Right, just caught up!
Done a round trip of 3 T's tonight. The first was Gallo*s C*rn*r where I got ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! No cheap clothing, all very tidy, looks like it's been cleared. No scanners working either
The second was R*inh*m where I got ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (well nothing off of the list but did find another little bargain which I will post below)! Scanned loads but all scanning at correct price. Again, clothing all very tidy, nothing cheap there
The third was G**dmayes where I got the Sabatier Knives! One set in the clearance section, no SEL but they scanned at £6. I also managed to pick up 2 Tesco Value Tents @ 75p. Then I went to the toy section (desperately trying to find the Chuggington) and found a random Moon Dough Pizza Set which scanned at £1.50!. This store has never had these before afaik as I shop in this one and definitely would have seen it.
As mentioned above I did find a Tesco Plain Black baby changing bag which had an SEL and scanned at .... 20p!! I don't have the barcode I'm afraid as there were only 3 there and my friend had the other 2 for her grandchildren and only 1 had a tag with a barcode on which I've realised my friend has got. It's just a plain black shoulder bag type thing with a changing mat and nappy bag/holder inside. I will try to post a pic tomorrow as it's still in the car.
HTH.
BTW, the three stores I have been to tonight ALL had the correct SEL (£1.75) for the Chuggington sets.... needless to say, there weren't any to be found.
ETA: The Vivitar camera that was mentioned a few pages back by someone (the T325 or something) I remember seeing in one of the stores I went to tonight with a normal white SEL showing £19.
HTHIf at first you don't succeed ........Alternative autism therapies should be free!!

Finally caught up ....................... (until someone else posts!)
Went to Mr T today and spent about 2 hours looking for 4p clothing etc. Felt like a perv staring at all the men's undies, especially as there was a SA there too. I did find some Pukka Pads with the correct barcodes - you guessed, they scanned at full price.
No Sabatier knives, no Toy Story bags, No casserole dishes, No Impulse, No Branston Beans, No Nivea deoderant .................
Think I'm going to stop looking in my local as I never find stuff and waste hours searching for the bargains. Will just stick to the occasional food glitches when I venture in. Especially now they don't take competitor spends.
Thanks to everyone who posts on here, and for putting 'finds' in bold:T
G'night all.
Happychappy: my son gets ear infections regularly and has to go to the doctors to get it cleared (eczema related). He applies warm olive oil for about a week beforehand to loosen it, though.0 -
Overheard, manager telling her staff that they needed to make room on shelves because they had to get 30 cages out of the warehouse in the next day or 2 to make room for xmas delivery, this was in the homeware section, so watch out for old stock being brought out in S34croft. They were shuffling shelves around and reducing the 2 man tents at the time.0

Sorry.
I got told ages ago that I needed to go to my doctor for a liver function test. That was over a year ago and I've still not been so I'm hardly likely to go for something as small as a clogged up ear.
I get this often! I also get water stuck in my one ear after swimming and it really is a right royal pain int he proverbial!! Deaf as a post in one ear sometimes for a week or more at a time.
All the docs will do is inspect and check your glands and temperature to make sure its not an infection and then prescribe you olive oil!
Use it, its excellent. Drop the bottle in a tumbler of warm water for a while to warm it up and put some in your ear a couple of times a day. At night just before bed, put loads in. Put an extra couple of pillow cases on your pillow so you can take them off to wash them rather than getting your pillow all oily. The oil will disolve over a few days any wax and it will run out, disolved in the oil each night.
You can also syringe your ears yourself too. Go get a large syring from boots (about 6 to 8 inches long) and then hang your head over a sink of very warm (but not hot) water and spend quite a few minutes doing it. You'd be amazed at what will come out.........I even had a trout fall out once! :eek:0 -

So I just squeeze the hot water in to my ear? I totally forgot that syringes can be bought in Boots.0
