    Xmas Saver!
ahh ok thanks.. i feel like such a noob right now lol.

i dont even shop in that shop i just wanted to save some money :( theres always next time i guess

You should get on to Cust services and either get your free pack of batteries, or tell them you have been charged for 2 packs when you bought one, and get £7.47 refund (which you alreayd had cos of offer so free batteries) or try for DTD as you where overcharged, and get paid £7.47 for the batteries.

Are they amazing batteries, cos I have never spent £7.47 on one pack of batteries!

if i go to them wont they just think i am trying it on and want a free pack of batteries? and will they notice that on the savings bit it says dcell aa/aaa 4/8pk b2gcf -7.47 so i wasnt actually charged for the second pack anyway?

there not amazing no, there overpriced rubbish but they last a wile and the cheap ones are no good. to be honest today is the first time in a long time i have checked any prices, usually i wonder round the shop in sort of a..ohh yeah we need chrisps, ohh we need loo roll and just put it in the trolley. its really hit us the last few weeks what we are really spending in supermarkets and to be honest its really frightening.

omg why did i just post a huge post when one line would have done, sorry im all panicking because of spending and confused over how i can reduce it.

There's no need to panic. We don't mind how long your post is as long as it isn't abusive which it isn't. x

That's a lot of money to spend on 8 batteries. You can usually find them on offer if you look around. Check the main supermarkets on line before you buy them next time. Also B&Q.

Try to stock up on basics like cheese, beans, washing up liquid, toiletries etc. when they are on a really good deal. Also, be wary of the main Grabbit board where it is so easy to get sucked into a bargain that you don't really need.

I am not meaning to teach my grandma to suck eggs. Take care. x

Yeah but nobody is as tight as us Aberdonians!

Think i might have to go a bit further if i want deals, stores in the west end of Glasgow seem to be on the ball, no knifes ( and yes i did look up ) same with toys, clothes etc. Just end up spending cash because i'm in a store. GRRRRR
