  • So what are cotton buds for then?

cant think of anything they are good for. DD1 has been going to ENT at hosp for the last 18 years, when we first started going they had a giant cotton bud hung on the wall warning of the perils of using them.My dd has had 3 new eardrums made now and i would hate to see someone damage theirs with a cotton bud because they dont always repair themselves.
    Hope it gets better soon:D

No chuggington's at N£wton Abb0t today and the sel was for £1.75. Empty space and no sel for the OOS ocean friends moon dough so assume it's the £2.00 one.The only professional knives were marked £65 and scanned at that price. What do the others look like?
I did get another pair of 4p score by night pj's and some more tights though, and the male SA put them through no probs.
Found a glade vanilla candle for 50p, loads of beans, profiterole gateaux now marked up at £1.(these are lovely, had one on sunday)
Forgot to look for the peanuts and flash wipes....what a wally!
Called off at Morrisons on the way home and got a load of whoopsies so not a bad day!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Just bought 9 x 4 pk Branston beans, discount didnt come off. H4tfie1d store- CS said oh that was taken off this morning because discount not coming off! I said it's on for a few more days. Wad asked were I'd seen that as all signs in store removed. Told them in papers. Asked her to phone CS at HO. While she was gone, I got it on my phone and showed her colleague that it finished on the 8th. CS came back, Yes you are right so you get DTD. £30.60 refunded! Appears to be same prob with the scampi as all labels there. Another person was getting DTD on Aquagresh £2.55 bogof discount didn't come off. HTH Sorry can't do bold on phone!

i am a bit confused (sorry its not unusual) when i was in mr t just now i got the scampi b1g2f it scanned at 3.99 i didnt know about the b1g2f at the time is this mispriced, if so can i go back and get dtd?
same with the beans they were 2.55 b1g2f

i dont know what i have done, apart from walk round and spend 124.55 that i didnt really want to spend ohh and when i went to look for the socks and 4p items the woman said if your looking for what i think you are then there all in the back theres no point we took them all out this morning. i just acted all inocent and said i was looking for a pair of working socks for hubby, she then told me that she was sorry and they had removed a load of items because some were scanning at only a few pence and people were taking advantage, i replied ohh some people eh and wanderd off.

i dont think i am verry good at this glitch thing

    Xmas Saver!
My local (is a Metro store) has these kids bike/skate helmets for £2.75 each, £12 online (but OOS).

    http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.203-5929.aspx

Was hoping they scanned at £12 for DTD but wanted them anyway. Ideal if you are getting your kids a new bike/rollerblades/skateboard for Xmas.

Also got paid to take a rubber mallet home after Tesco Mallets were priced a 58p but the stock above scanned at £2.50. B/code differed from SEL but CS did DTD without asking.

Tesco own brand sealant guns are reduced to £1.25 each too. They are made of metal, which is good as my plastic one from Wilko's got broke last week.
  • Going to Makro as they have 16 rolls of Plenty kitchen roll for £11 + VAT BOGOF. :)

Then going to T's to return something, check out the mince pies and look for Sabatier knives...

    2 things...

    1. Even if I drive like a loon like I used to in my youth there is no way that I could make it Norfolk in 37 minutes.

    2. I bought a car in Norfolk a few years ago and I vowed never to return.:rotfl:

Phew... how long did I take to read todays posts..... have to admit a brief FB detour and a bit of photo editing..... :o

Now have to get some food for DS before running him into the city.... wondering if a Mr t's visit whilst I leave him is on the cards, he's only there an hour so could do the metro and see if any stationary bits left. ;) Daren't even look at whats in the freezers.... not now thanks to LadyLeenie and Mr Kipling as I have 5 boxes of pies to put in my freezer, so now it's going to be bursting at the seams. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Now comes the task of hunting down my Makro card.

Forgot to say, Pukka pads for 45p and 56pm Aberdeen T0RRY.
