Because we don't know what is exactly glitching. If the original post had been left on the main Grabbit board, maybe more people would have given it a go and reported back.

What beer glitch? Can't even see one on shop+don't drop. Have they been hiding them in other places too?

:jYay, I've just noticed that I'm no longer officially classed as a newbie.
How did your trip to Dumfrxs go today mhurzak? any good bargains? I've got a T free day today - carless as it's having an MOT :(
I'm off to Glasgow next week with work - can anyone up there recommend any good stores for bargains/glitches and let me know which ones have scanners and where they are? TIA

Well done on not being a newbie :T
Got DTD on Isla Nigra so free :D
Also there was a small bottle SEL put in front of the full size bottle so I got a couple of those and got DTD because it was the same name on the bottle, SEL removed sorry.
We had a wander around A*ann too but they seemed to be on the ball as far as updating prices :A
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(
Stripper No 7 in HCSC :D

managed to get the branston beans today for £2 for 3 packs so thats still working, also managed to get the 4+2free pack of plenty for £1.84 from top shelf. and as all the dormen nuts i got for christmas are now eaten i tried the dormen spicy nut satay mix 75g sel over £1 but scanned at 25p all at sw1nd@n extra.
  • has anyone found any of the knife blocks in the stockport tesco at this price?? and also would anyone reccomend the prestige 8 piece block set?? TIA

I bought the Prestige set yesterday in Ol**am. They are sharp! They have jointed handles not moulded, the instructions recommend not leaving soaking in water but they can be washed in the dish washer.
I found them in the summer sale aisle & the box was badly damaged so thought they were just a 1 off. Paid £5.50.

Was trouted with the 6 sets of 4p trunks though! All was fine going through the SS till until the Youngs wine concentrate asked for approval, The SA saw the 4p on the screen.

At Roch**le trunks & socks that should have scanned at 4p had been written on & were going through at £3.50 - apart from 1 rogue pair I found!
I also got a VERY small DTD. Lemons were priced at 23p but went through at 30p.

It's been moved to the Tesco Misprices thread on the main Grabbit board which I think only us Tesco people read. At the moment, Tesco have a deal on for 4 boxes of beer/lager for £25 but it is not working properly which is resulting in DTD. Someone mentioned Speckled Hen has to be one of the boxes you buy but the post has been lost amongst that thread.

Have been giving the calculations on my receipt a bit of thought and think this might be what is happening.

    3 lots of Speckled hen 8 x 440mls @ £10 each = £30
    1 lot of Magners Cider 6 x 568mls @8 each = £ 8

    Total =£38

    Deduction Beer/Cider 2F15/4F25 £ 7

    Paid £31

    DTD as overcharged £6 £12

So I got four packs for Grand Total of £19

I think it is not taking into account that some of the beers in the offer are £10. As 4 x £8 = £32 less £7 multibuy saving = £25. If anyone can make anymore sense of the above then please do. HTHs

A woman at my local toddler group (that I help out at sometimes) works at my local Tesco and says they are letting lots of people go all the time in order to save money and when people don't turn up for the evening deliveries, the deliveries have to sent away because there is no room in the stock room for it all! An Asda store opens up in a few days (in my smallish town that already has 3 other supermarkets) and the lady says that they are really going to feel it when Asda comes as she predicts they will lose a lot of business! I'm hoping for the mother of all deals myself! Price wars between them I expect. Asda is opening up in a former Focus DIY store and apparently has already applied for planning permission to expand!
