Becki do you want to PM re the towels?

Also happy I second nursy's advice

    My differential diagnosis would be
    1.wax
    2. Otitis externa -eczema of the canal due to poking cotton buds in your ear causes Pain and deafness, discharge and secondary infections
3 ear infection -unlikely if no fever or severe pain
    4. Fluid behind ear if you've had a recent cold resolves on its own

My bet is on one or two -prob two,
All 4 conditions need someone to look in your ear so stop self treating and get down to your gp you plank!!
GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!

I was the one that posted originally about the beers that the man at my cs was getting. I put it on the main page thinking others would see it and be able to shed more light but it got move within a couple of minutes and it got lost in all the threads.

Because we don't know what is exactly glitching. If the original post had been left on the main Grabbit board, maybe more people would have given it a go and reported back.

    Its easy!!!!

Whoever sorted the deal said 4 times £8 equals £32 so take £7 off and voila, £25 for 4 cases but unfortunately they didn't bank on the fact some cases were £10 so you end up with a smaller discount than you should have. In other words it takes off £7 regardless of what 4 cases you buy.

This under discount definately works if you buy fosters or old speckled hen. Not sure about the other £10 cases.

I did it lunchtime but its not a monster deal really so couldn't really be bothered with chasing around the city for it wasting as much fuel as I'm saving in money!

Message on the tills now and most stores taking down the signs so don't all rush out.

I've just spent 20 minutes poking around with cotton buds and I was able to hear again but after 20 minutes of being able to hear I'm slowly going deaf again. :(

I'm not in pain, it's just uncomfortable, as if I've got an ear full of water. I've tried holding my nose and putting my finger in my left ear and blowing out but it doesn't do anything.

I'll try steaming my ear later, just having a sit down after doing the washing up, 2 loads of laundry and fixing a leak on the kitchen sink waste pipe. It turns out when I took the U bend apart a few weeks ago to clear a blockage I nipped the O ring putting it back together, thankfully it was only a drip but as always with these things the minute you touch it it turns in to a waterfall. It's fixed for now but I'll be going to B&Q later for some O rings, when I get back I'll steam my ear. :)

My daughter had the same problem as you with water feeling in your ear. It seems that you have a middle ear infection and you will need to go to your GP for a prescription as nothing will work otherwise. He may prescribe antibiotics and a good decongestant ear drop treatment. HTH

Now Happychappy I am going to frighten you into going to the doctors. That's what I get ,no2 from Celebrates list and I have ended up in hospital a few times with it when I've left it and one side of my face has swelled up:( Mine comes on if I'm stressed or if I get water in my ear and that stuff that clears your ears that you put in would make mine even worse. I've had "stent" things put in my ear before and had to have them changed at the hospital and it's 'orrible. So get your bottom to the doctors;) and don't mess with earache;) Tomorrow!
Hope that did'nt come across to harsh, just my motherly instinct coming out, my tactic is always to scare my DS into going to the doc's otherwise he won't go:p
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

Have been giving the calculations on my receipt a bit of thought and think this might be what is happening.

    3 lots of Speckled hen 8 x 440mls @ £10 each = £30
    1 lot of Magners Cider 6 x 568mls @8 each = £ 8

    Total =£38

    Deduction Beer/Cider 2F15/4F25 £ 7

    Paid £31

    DTD as overcharged £6 £12

So I got four packs for Grand Total of £19

I think it is not taking into account that some of the beers in the offer are £10. As 4 x £8 = £32 less £7 multibuy saving = £25. If anyone can make anymore sense of the above then please do. HTHs

Thanks for this. I've just checked my receipt and realise that I've also been overcharged :(
    I bought
    Coors light £10
    Stella £8
    Stella Cider £8
    Crabbies £8
    Total £34

Only got £7.00 knocked off so paid £27.00

I'm home now and it's about 15 miles to the store. Can I ring customer services and they can send me a gift card or something?
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
