  • I found a new one today, not a huge saving but every little helps! ;)

Kids two pack of gloves, one plain pink the other pink with 4 purple stripes, One Size marked as £2 on a round yellow tag, scans at £1! B/C 5052320279913

Was picking these up for my DD today, so was a nice surprise when I looked at the reciept, 2 pairs of gloves for £1 will do nicley and might help someone else :D

Also found another casserole dish :j

Then I went to the other Extra round the corner and I may be getting paranoid, especially after some of the stories on here, but I think the old security man may have followed me! Saw him at the door when I went in, I went down the aisle with the casseroles dishes, looked at one but it wasn't the right b/c so put it back went round the corner and there he was, so went along the next aisle, there he was again, so when I went round the corner I stopped to look at the DS games and he went past, so I doubled back the way I came and I seen him at the other end looking about!

As I say it may all be in my head, but I've never seen him move from the door before! But don't really know why I would be 'known' to them, only had 2 DTD's and they were months apart. Unless it's been scanning things, but I don't do that alot, and certainly not more than twice when I'm in! I haven't even had any 4p bargains!

  • Mammy got me some Otex from the chemist and it doesn't seem to be working. Isn't that the same thing? I need to do something as I've partially deaf in my right ear for over a week now. I've tried cleaning it out with a cotton bud but there is only so much I can do as this ear has never been right since I was a kid when dad heavy handidly shoved a cotton bud in too far. I cried for hours in pain. :(

No chance of their being a Smartie in mine as I didn't get any.

Please dont put cotton buds in your ear,its the worst thing possible to use, the previous advice about olive oil is brilliant, if it dosent help after a few days go to Gp as you may have an infection or may need syringing:)

Thanks, how far do you have to go? i'm at the 'buy now' point, but obviously don't want to buy now, but if i just exit the screen will i still get the points?
    TIA xx

yep, you will get the points....just exit the screen (as long as you have a ref number somewhere on that page; that indicates you got a quote).

Right hears what you do, get it hears!:rotfl:I really suffer with my ears since I had a perforated ear drum years ago. Do not stick anything else in your ears you will just make them worse and if its a build up of wax will just push it further in:eek: First take nurofen or brufen as if you have swelling in your ear this will help get it down and help with the pain. Get a cup of hot water and put your ear over it so in effect you are steaming your ear. This will soften what's in there. When you've done that tip your head to the side so as your ear is facing the ceiling, pinch your nose and gently blow then do the same on the other side, only gently blow though! If it's still bad tomorrow, go to the doctors as a week with earache is to long:( Did you have a cold before your earache?

I've just spent 20 minutes poking around with cotton buds and I was able to hear again but after 20 minutes of being able to hear I'm slowly going deaf again. :(

I'm not in pain, it's just uncomfortable, as if I've got an ear full of water. I've tried holding my nose and putting my finger in my left ear and blowing out but it doesn't do anything.

I'll try steaming my ear later, just having a sit down after doing the washing up, 2 loads of laundry and fixing a leak on the kitchen sink waste pipe. It turns out when I took the U bend apart a few weeks ago to clear a blockage I nipped the O ring putting it back together, thankfully it was only a drip but as always with these things the minute you touch it it turns in to a waterfall. It's fixed for now but I'll be going to B&Q later for some O rings, when I get back I'll steam my ear. :)

On the 15th of Nov you will be able to get a £25 iTunes gift card for £12.50 worth of CC vouchers. :)

Log in to your CC account, find the iTunes offer, input your CC voucher codes and you will be sent a coupon to redeem in store.

If you haven't got £12.50 exactly worth of CC vouchers and you've got say £15 or £20 then the 'change' will go back to your CC account for the next statement.
