Hi all,
Just wanted to share my day with you all today as I am 1 nill up to Mr t w@lsal, after reading all last week about the 4p clothing and not being able to get there as had my sister here for the week, as soon as I dropped dd1 off at school this morning off I went with dd2 in tow. Spent 2 and a half hours scanning boxers, socks and lounge wear, found quite a few bits which I will list after, got rest of my grocery shopping and went to ss. Scanned 5 or 6 bits through and thought I'd better pay then do few more, as I paid sa came over and asked if I'd got anymore at that price [4p] a few I replied, I can't sell them you without authorisation she says and calls supervisor over, she says no can't sell them cos they too cheap, I straight away start with the shpeal of they shouldn't be on the shelf, blah blah and asked for a manager, the clothing manager comes down, seemed in a Dracula costume, instantly says we've had an email this morning and been told to take them off shelves, not to be sold blah blah, asked for head office phone number, eventually used their phone to ring, explained over phone and they said they would ring the store and ring me back, by this time I had been in-store for 3 hours and dd2 18 months old had had enough, I had to leave my trolley with security guard so I could take her for little walk while waited for phone call, told him not to let it out his sight and to take it with him if he had to move, lol.
Eventually gets call back and got told he'd spoken to same manager I had and that she wasn't nudging and wouldn't't sell them to me and offered me a £25 pound gift card for my inconvenience to which I said no, not good enough I want to take it higher. So he gets his manager to speak to me who by the sounds of it was quite high up, explained to him, he then spoke to Dracula manager for........ 20 mins on my phone who then came back to me and said I could have my items at the price they were scanning at. The look on her face was unreal, She had to scan them through herself, scowling and trouting as she went. She must have had a right rollicking lol. I then thanked her for her help but pointed out she hadn't taken tags off, lol, 3 times she had to go through to find them.:D
I only pushed the matter because of the way the trouts were all pointing and looking at the stuff in my trolley, sooo rude
Felt so good to have won though, think I'll stay away from there for a whileAgent 06 of the HCCSC :T0 -

Got a pair of 4p Rugby world cup pyjama bottoms today, bright red with the england flag printed all over them. Was the only deal/glitch/cheap item in my trolley of £30 weekly shop & when SA scanned them she said the price didnt seem right & asked me what I thought they should have been so I just said half price. She called manager over who told her it was fine & it was the 1p items that they weren't allowed to sell. Dont think I would have got them if I'd had lots of 4p items. Dont know why I went to her till tho she screamed of trout!0
