Well, ive been away for a few days visiting family up north, mind you anywhere is north from down here!

Obviously made a detour to a big extra, no scanners!

This kind of worked to my advantage as i knew pretty much what i was looking for! Shelf full of moon dough toy story bags scotch tape things for the desk and a few 4p socks and tights. Horrible not being able to check, you never know!

Had no internet so felt like id had my arm removed!

Had a lovely day at drayton manor only for it to take 6 hrs to drive home. Good job my kids are used to being in the car with going back and forth to mr t!

Happy to be back here! Turning off lights as Ive ran out of sweets and kids are turning noses up at apples and oranges!

just a quick question, can anyone tell me what the deal is with the scotch tape

    TIA :j

Were you in cuckoo bridge? I saw lots of the rugby socks in both stores in town - didn't bother to get any as I can't see OH wearing them, but I did manage to get some of the 4p vest packs. Also I got 2 sets of the kids outfit of the week - didn't bother yesterday as they didn't have a jumper option for small boys to get the good discount. anyway, they were on a big display £7 jeans/shirt outfit so had to get 2 - DTD was £25 so both sets for £1.50 CS was convinced the offer was on till november, needless to say someone was quickly despatched to move the signs.
Another great find - not a glitch or DTD but a new mascara on introductory offer, Rimmel scandaleyes in an orange tube £4.99 the brush is just like a hairy caterpillar:rotfl:

We were at the Peel Centre today, but we both feel 2 hours was just not long enough. I'll send you a PM :D
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

    Me - 'Is WHAT real?'

Security man then pointed to my bump......

Me - ' You mean my tummy??!!, is my bump real???'
Security - 'Yeah.. are you really pregnant?'

    HOW BAD IS THAT!!!!!!

OMG sunshine, that is quite bad! I think from what you have said recently about being followed round, this goes beyond whats acceptable. However your choice words will perhaps not help your case if you decide to take it further, and at the end of they day Tesco can ban people without even giving a reason.

Maybe thats it, he thinks you have some kind of hollow prosthetic belly:eek:, how bizarre!
Quite shocking that he was interogating you about why you wanted so many tents, what on earth has it got to do with him if you are not pinching them!
  • whats CEO please? x

im ok.... just ngry more than anything... if i had been in a pregnany hormonal mood.. i know i would have cried right there and then though... but i was determined to stand my ground... what an idiot...... tempted to go back to the store now and scan the Sabateur knives though!!! 6 quid is such a bargain! - plus it will show im not easily scared off..... sod him!!!!

    OH MY GOODNESS!!!! IM FUMING!!!!!

Just popped into the Ts in question from my earlier post... needed some juice for the kids and wanted to see if i could get my hands on a few woopsies.....

Managed to get a couple of bunches of flowers, some salmon and some chicken.. so a happy bunny i was!!!...... I decided to just ignore te security guard that followed me around as usual, and took my time.... after all, im heavily pregnant, so cant exactly zoom around the shop...

anyway, DH then called and told me about the tens, so i went and scanned one... yep, came up at 75p... so i got 5... left plenty on the shelves..

made my way to the checkouts and went to a normal till operator.... just to confirm that i was all above board.....
went through the tills no problem..... it was on the way out that THIS conversation came about....

Security - 'Excuse me, can i stop you a sec please?'
Me - 'Yeah, course... whats the problem?'
Security - ' I was just wondering, why you have baught 5 tents?'
Me - '..... Because i like camping..... why??''
    Security - 'Just wondered'
Me - 'Oh, right, ok....., can i go now?'
    Security - 'Is that real?'
    Me - 'Is WHAT real?'

Security man then pointed to my bump......

Me - ' You mean my tummy??!!, is my bump real???'
Security - 'Yeah.. are you really pregnant?'
Me - 'Course i fu**ing am!!... are YOU for real??!!!'

I then lifted my top to show my tummy and told him that this wouldnt be the last of this..... called him a wierdo and i walked off!!!

    HOW BAD IS THAT!!!!!!

i would have got a trout out of my pocket...

    soca_trout01.jpg

....and slapped him across the face with it!!

    i would defo email/call customer services....awful behaviour!

My store was cleared out of clothing by lunchtime as everything was £2. Don't think it would go much cheaper than that but will keep my fingers crossed that your store has more stock than mine.

Thanks for the heads up, not expecting to find much clothing wise but you never know what you'll find ;)
  • Off topic.... but Marks and Sparks Halloween costumes are double glitching again like last year. Just got 2 for £4.50 delivered to store to save £3.50 delivery.
