Evening everyone

Had a quick trip to my local Metro store during lunchbreak today, unfortunately wasn't very successful. Found Moon Dough, Pringles, Berry Explosion Ice Cream and Pepsi but they all scanned full price

Never mind tomorrow is another day, spent the past hour catching up and writing a list ready for my trip to a bigger T's after work ready for tomorrow.

Thank you to everyone posting the 4p clothing finds, will try and post all my finds tomorrow evening to help everyone out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for lots of cheap halloween sweets and costumes, as want to get DD's costume for next year whilst it's cheap lol.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! IM FUMING!!!!!

Just popped into the Ts in question from my earlier post... needed some juice for the kids and wanted to see if i could get my hands on a few woopsies.....

Managed to get a couple of bunches of flowers, some salmon and some chicken.. so a happy bunny i was!!!...... I decided to just ignore te security guard that followed me around as usual, and took my time.... after all, im heavily pregnant, so cant exactly zoom around the shop...

anyway, DH then called and told me about the tens, so i went and scanned one... yep, came up at 75p... so i got 5... left plenty on the shelves..

made my way to the checkouts and went to a normal till operator.... just to confirm that i was all above board.....
went through the tills no problem..... it was on the way out that THIS conversation came about....

Security - 'Excuse me, can i stop you a sec please?'
Me - 'Yeah, course... whats the problem?'
Security - ' I was just wondering, why you have baught 5 tents?'
Me - '..... Because i like camping..... why??''
Security - 'Just wondered'
Me - 'Oh, right, ok....., can i go now?'
Security - 'Is that real?'
Me - 'Is WHAT real?'

Security man then pointed to my bump......

Me - ' You mean my tummy??!!, is my bump real???'
Security - 'Yeah.. are you really pregnant?'
Me - 'Course i fu**ing am!!... are YOU for real??!!!'

I then lifted my top to show my tummy and told him that this wouldnt be the last of this..... called him a wierdo and i walked off!!!

HOW BAD IS THAT!!!!!!

My store was cleared out of clothing by lunchtime as everything was £2. Don't think it would go much cheaper than that but will keep my fingers crossed that your store has more stock than mine.

DEFINATELY going to write a letter to complain now after that!! - can anyone offer any advice on who it is that i would be best speaking to please? dont just want to call Custoer Services.. i want to take this higher than that!!!

I found the £1 jacket today (I think)....didn't fancy my chances at SS as the girl there was watching her screen with eagle eyes and has a full-on view of all the tills, so chose a young, hungover-looking SA. Unbeknownst to me she was a TroutInTraining and called over the checkout supervisor when she saw the price of the jacket (it actually went through at 4p). Sup then proceeded to check with clothing department and came back to say they can't sell the jacket.

The helpful SA asked 'And what about these socks?' twice, pointing to the 3 pairs of 4p socks already in my bag. The supervisor seemed to think they were ok, as she 'had seen them reduced last week'. Lol. A call to CS confirmed the jacket had been in the pound sale and then further reduced and that they can't actually sell 4p items, as there are 'laws involved' (?!). They wouldn't even accept my offer to pay £1 for it. Gutted, really wanted it for the FIL's Christmas gift as he's so hard to buy for and money's tight.

On a cheerier note, Herbal Essences Breakage Defender conditioner in Pearl, Coconut and Mango scanning as 87p for 400ml. And managed to get 2 pairs of 4p pyjamas with no bother at another store
