I miss the old DTD days, but don't think i will ever have to buy soap or toothpaste again!
Glad it's not just me that still has a stock of DTD stuff!
I still have plenty of fabric conditioner, surf washing liquid, liquid soap and dishwasher tablets. Plus a leg of lamb and some roast tatties in the freezer. Just using the last boxes of cereal bars and toilet duck discs though. :eek:0 -
We've still got 16 electric kids toothbrushes :rotfl:Shop one - A vs T
Shop two - A vs W
And then repeat :j:j:j
& now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Caz you made me smile cause sad reading at start but great at the end
Money ain't the most important thing in life what you've got you can't buy.
In saying this I don't mean you ain't had it hard but you know what's good
Thanks jaggyman. As long as I have my health and my boys, life doesn't get any better. God now I'm welling up just typing that. I really am the luckiest girl alive as my sons have been a blessing. DS1 is just the best most helpful and cutest wee fella about. DS2 was admitted to hospital at less than 48 hours old and had to endure a lumbar puncture, IV antibiotics, regular blood tests and lived in an incubator for 3 days and was in for 5 days. To this day I don't know what "infection" was picked up in his blood work but he's here today and he's my wee giggly boy.I miss the old DTD days, but don't think i will ever have to buy soap or toothpaste again!
I only got into DTD 6 days before it was pulled so the only thing I really got was dishwasher tablets (3 years supply) and some L'Oreal eye cream which I should really start using again. Now if we are talking about DTD + glitches + normal DTD + Superdrug silly prices + Mothercare glitches + Body Shop glitches then lets just say all I need for the foreseeable future is fresh food like bread, milk, fruit & veg and meat.
Edit: how could I forget the Maggies!!! I have a surplus of girls ones now so might donate but thankfully got some boy friendly ones for the DSs.0 -
I now work away from home for two weeks a month and it has got to the stage where my back seats are permanently removed from car due to the kindness of Mr T, my family love it when i go home and it always take a good half hour or so for me to unload all my goodies, i have even purchased a small freezer which now resides in my place of work so i can fill it up with any goodies that come along whilst im working, luckily it only takes me just over an hour to get home, my OH rang me earlier and suggested if i have any freezer stuff to leave it behind this time when i go home as our home freezers are bursting at the seams as he as been given a load of meat by a local butcher in exchange for logs, and has told him to put in his order for over the christmas period and he can have it free in exchange for more logs - not going to be home at christmas so looks like we will have to have a family christmas dinner in the new year.
So cheers Mr T and Mr Butcher love you both loads xxxVery proud to be Strip club member No 430 -

Caz can i please ask what Maggies are?
Kids are great arnt they, my son is now 25 and if it hadn't been for him i don't know where i would be now, yes he could be a pain in the rear but he gave me the incentive to get my bum out of bed in the mornings and know matter how much trouble he was in or had caused he was my son and always brought a smile to my face. He still rings me now a couple of times a week to check im ok and gives the worlds best cuddles even now xxVery proud to be Strip club member No 430 -
DTD was amazing! :T But I don't have that much left apart from laundry stuff as I gave most away to my family
I love giving things away! I think I enjoy it more then receiving gifts...Already started stocking up on things for xmas...
I even managed to introduce one of my friends to DTDI was really proud of it as most people were amazed at how much I got for free but couln't be bothered!
I have to admit it was hard work: grabbit all day long, check T and A websites, shopping lists, going to T, using vouchers, coming home, inputting receipt details, grabbit again... repeat daily and add :waiting for vouchers, feedback as to any n/a on mse, printing vouchers
I was sad though when it ended and couldn't justify spending more then 20gbp/week on groceries again...and not having tonnes of spirits/wine all the time... however bf was really good at making my stash of bottles smaller
I'll try to find him some 88p beer tomorrownot saying the price certainly! I tried today but it was oos at the two stores I found the sel... wonder why? :rotfl:

Ref your wee boy
my mum & dad were told they couldn't have kids after bro 1 dying so they adopted bro2 then I came along miracle baby, after me 2 more bros naturally. When I was 16 bro 2 died in an accident. What I'm trying to say is life is a rollercoaster. My mum & dad are 2 of the most nicest peeps you'll ever meet & I know they hurt like he'll but they still get on with if it. I look at them & try to learn cause if they can do it after losing 2 children then my probs are small fryShop one - A vs T

I guess the majority of the people who come on these boards could be described as either dishonest or immoral!!!
I believe Tesco do not genuinely go out to make mistakes and overcharge people hence their DTD policy whereas people on here actively go out and look for the DTD stuff.
I guess I was dishonest but so are most people if the truth be know.Awaiting a new sig0 -
