H i all, long time tesco thread lurker, mainly a comps board person but have loved reading through last few days lol.
Anyway thought i would share my t,s experience today.
Went in with my moneycard (from a previous complaint) to get a printer i had had my eye on, popped it in my trolley and looked at the reduced gear, popped a few things in my trolley then went on a looksy around. Noticed after 2 aisles i was being followed by a huge security guard so thought hmmm, went on a random twisty path through the store yep he was still there stopped an chatted to the wife for 3 minutes turned round and hes still there at the top of the aisle so having had enough i turned round and confronted him, asked him what his problem was and why he was following me! no problem and hes not following apparently just a crazy coincidence he took exact same path and decided to stop when i did lmao. told me he suggests i go about my business in a gruff voice cheeky bleeder however the tone was enough to say oops and so of i went paid and webt to see store manager/duty manager who apologised but i was still brave enough to point the guy out and made sure he knew it, how dare they make me feel like that after spending £70 instore, have phoned ho and asked for a call from store to assure me i am safe to return as i feel scared. will also log it in an email as it is my word against his, however all they have to do is check the store cctv.
crazy crazy day. cant wait till after school might just have to pop in there. ps also got dtd on dunkers
My poor 15 yr old daughter broke her wrist i 5:eek: places tonight poor little mite was screaming in agony, all casted temp now and fingers crossed no surgery needed to fix.

I got the same feeling last night in a Glasgow tesco that i had got free chicken from earlier in the day. The security guy on entering the store just glared at me after i gave him a polite nod then when i was browsing i noticed another looking at me from the end of aisles and i was only checking barcodes on a bit of paper. I said nothing got what i needed and left. Without any deals apart from jammies BOG2F. Give them a uniform and the think they are police.

How big is the suitcase Bensonsmum - I didn't realise suitcases where reduced - I'll have a look in my locals this week - I need the biggest size to take all our luggage for holidays next year ! TIA

    Hi
I got the luggage, just type relic suitcase into tesco.com and the sizes are there. The xl isnt reduced for some reason. The cabin size was £3, medium £4 and large £4.75. Still gotstock at fleetsbr1dge
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

    hmmmm.....on second thoughts....

The Sun newspaper article says "Customers will be able to take old kettles, TVs, microwaves, cameras and irons into nearly 240 hypermarkets from this morning"
but the tescoelectrialtradein website only gives you options for the usual mobile phone/camcorder/sat nav etc :-(

Visit to recycling centre in order en route to mr t tomorrow me thinks!

These were in Glasgow a few weeks ago- I managed to get a medium (I think) Revelation case for £6. But it's quite heavy- 4kg. Still, a good, sturdy suitcase and it'll do fine for storage.
