Awh im raging this morning - just back from 2 Tesco's I live in the sticks so have been out since 9am - dropped one boy off at school - took the other with - looking for chicken, toy story bags, peppa pig stroller set, princess cleaning set and salter scales and casserole dishes and shower cremes !

came home after spending £30 with none of the above - sorry 2 toy story bags ! Raging !
My stores both had stickers over the barcodes on the scales -( I could see the barcode underneath so had the right item just they had stuck a new barcode on top) and the casserole dishes where all new barcodes ! No Peppa or princess in Tyrone stores and the chicken had stickers removed - so had to actually buy chicken !!!

There was a few Thomas at the farm scanning at £4 - 2 left and 1 moon dough but I have two farm sets and a 1 moon dough so didn't need them ! There also was Zhu Zhu things greatly reduced on SEL and Toystory 8 ball £1.40 - I don't need any of these things so didn't buy !
I needed shampoo and shower gel so did get a few of value stuff but there wasn't any of the aforementioned stuff !

Anyway am still desperately searching for the twin DVD Player if anyone can guide me in the right direction? Im in N Ireland but I have family in Scotland and England this week if I could send them anywhere . TIA

P.s - I'll pay for the twin DVD players if they're really good but my store doesn't have twin version! If you know of any other stores that sell them at a reasonable price i'd be mighty grateful ! Thanks

Anyone got The Sun newspaper Page 49 "Sun City" where they discuss shares & companies.

Tesco is throwing open its doors to scrap today in a nationwide green campaign. Sorry can't type ie all word for word it says you can take old electricals to 240 hypermarkets (?) and will be offered giftcards or points.

Did we, do we know about this ?

    http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/3883560/Rewards-for-scrap-at-Tesco.html

OOOH I didn't know I could do links

    Edit
Just phoned Tesco the lady said you could take them to any 24hour extra stores and that it was all small domestic electrical appliances then gave me this website to check, seems its only the good stuff they want

OMG - Tesco customer services just emailed me for my address to send me a £15 money card lol - I emailed yesterday with regard to buying the lightening McQueen luggage bag that had no handle ! I had spoken to a CS guy earlier in the day but he said I'd just get a refund , When I emailed I asked explained that I had lost the tag but had the receipt and they emailed back to say they were sorry I was sold a faulty product and I would be entitled to a full refund of £1.40 but as the item is no longer available for sale You can have a £15 money card as a 'gesture of goodwill' - whoop whoop !!!!!!!!!!! Makes my tesco trip earlier a bit better !

 It's bad when I'm getting my news off the Tesco Discussions board! will check it now!
But update from Metro-found nothing except some more 25p kids pva glues, saw a Tesco 22.5cm (i think?) frying pan for £2.50, tried the Uncle Bens Tom Risotto, when the total was £6 for 4 of them and 4 glues, so asked SA to cancel them and something weird happened, I didn't have to pay anything?:o This was on SS.
