 It's bad when I'm getting my news off the Tesco Discussions board! will check it now!
But update from Metro-found nothing except some more 25p kids pva glues, saw a Tesco 22.5cm (i think?) frying pan for £2.50, tried the Uncle Bens Tom Risotto, when the total was £6 for 4 of them and 4 glues, so asked SA to cancel them and something weird happened, I didn't have to pay anything?:o This was on SS.
Yes I'm just watching News 24. Still not confirmed. have to say this the most bizarre post I've seen on this thread yet!Awaiting a new sig0 -
OMG - Tesco customer services just emailed me for my address to send me a £15 money card lol - I emailed yesterday with regard to buying the lightening McQueen luggage bag that had no handle ! I had spoken to a CS guy earlier in the day but he said I'd just get a refund , When I emailed I asked explained that I had lost the tag but had the receipt and they emailed back to say they were sorry I was sold a faulty product and I would be entitled to a full refund of £1.40 but as the item is no longer available for sale You can have a £15 money card as a 'gesture of goodwill' - whoop whoop !!!!!!!!!!! Makes my tesco trip earlier a bit better !
You see. Tesco aren't that bad. Who else would have done that. Hope that doesn't come out of my dividends! (only joking before I get a torrent of abuse)Awaiting a new sig0 -

Got some free chicken today thanks to the OP.
My Ts (an Extra) had some Disney wrapping paper at 10p per pack, 2 sheets per pack with gift tags, perfect for birthdays or Xmas, no SEL, maybe store specific. I have a pic (but need your help Karlie to post it!).

Not that I need any since the Express glitch a couple of months ago:rotfl:
The shower gel was there but it's a small bottle and still means their "Everyday" shower creme is better value.
Oh and DH asked me to get some conditioner "that doesn't smell of anything":rotfl:
And HappyChappy hope your phone's roaming is capped cos on Watchdog they were showing people who'd been abroad and got bills for £1000s because they hadn't realised all their smartphones were constantly running apps in the background :starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -

Are you another local to the Dumfries area APennysaved? There are 3 of us on this thread that I know about local to to SW Scotland now. :T
I'm waiting to see if Blondynurse found anything good on her raid over the border last night
Hi, no I'm in sunny Glesga...hmmm, maybe SW central Scotland is more accurate. And judging by the conspicuous empty spots on certain shelves in my locals, there are quite a few folk about who read MSE lol.
I was also thinking about Blondynurse's foray south this morning...a good haul might make the trip worthwhile!
Edit: Just realised that may come across the wrong way. Assuming she went only to get bargains, I meant.0 -

just got back from another successful trip...havent read back so will do that in a mo to catch up!
Managed to get 3 lindam bed rails (1 for my 18mth old and 2 for my friends grandsons!)..60p each!! Also got another 6 toy story gift bags (1p) for my nephews party bags....3 casserole dishes (8p each)...
got excited when i saw 6 bottles of the pantene..but they must have got wise to the glitch as these scanned at £3.97 each!!! they were the correct ones as i bought a couple last week!
also scanned the toy story lunchboxes and moxie dolls (i got 2 dolls fromsame store last week for £1.30 each)...scanned to ask CS-was told i couldnt pay for them on ss and to go to CS, who advised me they couldnt sell them to me as werent on file! I explained that i had bought the dolls last week at the reduced price no problems - SA wasnt having any of it and said they shouldnt be on the shelves yet!! I said they'd been out for weeks and being sold no probs - but she just took them off the counter, and refused to sell them! So i'll be going back later tonight i think to have another go!!
there was also a Hot Wheelsbig boxset thingy (priced about £30 that scanned at £12.50) but didnt get it as have no boys old enough to appreciate it - and dont think my loft can hold much morehoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0
