i know...i got mine for DD1 in the sale from Asda at the beginning of this year for £15 and thought i'd got a bargain then! I've seen these a few times but whenever I've scanned them, they've always come up full price...but not today!!!
When i picked up DD1 from playgroup earlier I was telling one of the mums...now 6 of them have asked me to get them if i can find anymore!!! Hmm...might look a bit odd buying 6 of them! :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Just back from my local B*rnst*pl* T*w V**w and picked up

3 piece klip top container sets - rectangular in shape suitable for keeping things fresh in the fridge £1.75

    double duvet £2.25 slumberland 4.5tog

set of three tesco black handwriting pens (very much like Berol) 33p

set of 10 Zebra Z grip ball point pens 37p

I left 2 bed rails scanning at 60p each not needed and 1 large Relic suitcase £6.00 really nice lightweight case but too big for me and a bargain as a smaller one in the same range was going through at £15.

No pringles. chicken or mince today.

Oh and "Ped eggs" were £2.45 absolutely spot on for the money if you ever suffer with hard skin on your feet you really need to get one of these - amazing xxx

They also had black and decker hand held rechargable screwdrivers for £6, 17" pink laptop skins £1.59
If anyone wants to know where the suitcase is just pm as i have stuck it out of the way xx

Anyone got The Sun newspaper Page 49 "Sun City" where they discuss shares & companies.

Tesco is throwing open its doors to scrap today in a nationwide green campaign. Sorry can't type ie all word for word it says you can take old electricals to 240 hypermarkets (?) and will be offered giftcards or points.

Did we, do we know about this ?

    http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/3883560/Rewards-for-scrap-at-Tesco.html

OOOH I didn't know I could do links

    Edit
Just phoned Tesco the lady said you could take them to any 24hour extra stores and that it was all small domestic electrical appliances then gave me this website to check, seems its only the good stuff they want

    https://www.tescoelectricaltradein.com/page/home/

surely this qualifies as good enough for it's own thread?:o

To be honest I have no idea where to put it, you are welcome to use the links to start one if you want to
  • hmmmm.....on second thoughts....

The Sun newspaper article says "Customers will be able to take old kettles, TVs, microwaves, cameras and irons into nearly 240 hypermarkets from this morning"
but the tescoelectrialtradein website only gives you options for the usual mobile phone/camcorder/sat nav etc :-(
