What I was saying was not abuse of DTD but us receiving DTD when most peeps that have been overcharged don't know it, don't check there receipts etc etc. Remember DTD is Ts policy not ours & the overcharge shouldn't happen in the first place. Look at A how many times do they get it wrong compared to T? I rest my case :)

You make good point that I have to totally agree with. I regularly implore friends/family to check their receipts but it often falls on deaf ears. In fact I've often been accused of being a bit of a saddo for doing this. It worries me that, despite the apparent current economic downturn, some people bleat on about how hard up they are can't even be bothered to do some very simple things to help themselves.

    so true

when i rushed to my local for the fanta/lilt DTD the shelves were almost bare obviously people had seen the 3 for £2 signs and thought wow what a deal. CS seemed to know nothing about the SEl being incorrect until I claimed the DTD, so obviously "normal" shoppers are buying thinking they are getting a bargain but in fact aren't. It may be so that Tesco aren't doing it on purpose but they are so incompetent in the same store even then when i went back the next day the incorrect SEL's were still there and goodness knows how many people had bought thinking they were getting a good deal.

I think we are doing Tesco a favour pointing out theire incorrect SEL's ie doing "research" that their staff and price integrity team should be doing

Exactly we are within the rules of Ts policy. Yes we get good deals etc etc but how many don't?

Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

Another person on here has checked their store and the barcodes have overstickers on, so looks like mine slipped the net. Worth checking for that much dtd though. Almost paid for the rest of shopping!

Did you use SS or with lots of other items?

Can't believe i didn't get them in the end  , might try in H1ghw00ds on way home or C0pd0ck! :rotfl:

Sorry, probably a bit late to answer now. I used the SS but was being watched like a hawk. Only had a few items. There were none left in Highwoods when I was there.

Some I know can't even be bothered going to supermarket & still go to corner shop. I don't like to judge but John Hartson ex-welsh player was in the paper moaning he was getting chased for debt cause of gambling he owed 400 grand he agreed to pay 12p in the pound so if my sums are right 400 g down to 48g that is all wrong & this is someone who was not on the breadline trying to make ends met this was someone who could kick a ball!! Worlds gone mad. Rant over

Back to my safe world of moneysaving peeps x :)

What's the best bargain of the day in the £1 clothes sale?

Mine would be a £49 Men's Duffle Coat for 75p - any advance on that?!!!
