ummm, the pile of clothes was more like a molehill!..... but the SA was muttering to a friend of hers, that the stock should have come in Tuesday, but had only arrived today, so she was putting it out as soon as she got the prices changed...maybe more out over the weekend, or next week, if some arrives?
So at least North Yorks is in with the rest of the crowd. You know what they're like in there! Did you get anything?

im so jealous of everyones bargains and so annoyed why doesn't my mr T's have a £1 sale :(

They did, but even by the time I got to BBL about 1 ish it was pretty rubbish..... I got a pair of gloves, same as I had got last 2 of in Ippy Road, but what made the trip across the city was I found one lonesome cat carrier at the back on the bottom shelf, £2.49.

My best was at Ippy Road today though, got there 8.45am.... I actually do find them better for clothes, but I prefered it when they were hidden at the back of the store where hardly anyone went, and then at sale time they had LOADS left, but since the re vamp they are near the front.....

    £1 SALE
Well I got daddy 2 pair jeans, shirt n tie, slippers and a load of t-shirts I'll mention in a min.
Got DS 2 pairs of mens cargo jeans to grow into, (suitcase in the loft for them!) And more of same T-shirts in smaller size.
Me, well I got a long sleeve top and a couple of pairs of mens jeans for the gardening, a pair of gloves and some more of them t-shirts!
A pair of jeans for my mates daughter.
A Minnie Mouse 3-6 month dress and top for my mates newly arrived grandaughter.
And my Mum and sis got a pair of glove each :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The T-shirts are in a twin pack, open slip in cardboard type, Short Sleeve Vest (so like a normal T-shirt) 2 colours pack marked £8
    I got Grey/Red
    And Blue/Green
The packs had a price gun sticker on of £2.50, but scanned at £1 :T

My other bargain of the day, again at Ippy rd was Churchill MARBLES 12 piece porcelain Dinner set, SEL something silly like £18 but scanned at £3.50! Got 2 of them, a perfect chrimbo pressie!

Happy days shopping all round..... sorry you missed out at BBL Toni :( but it could be hit n miss with deliveries now, so you never know.

The nice lady at Old Y is the Indian lady with the long hair, the older English lady is a nightmare & the young English girl with the dark hair I think I saw at Osst as a new checkout supervisor, the nice ones at BB were the young blonde lady & the Indian girl who has the Canadian accent, I won't name todays trout but have reported her to HO.

No glitching tomorrow hope to be well enough to go to football, anyone know any good deals for Morrissons its on the way. Do they do DTD or £2 giftcards for mistakes ?

the only nice lady in old Y I remember was a young(ish), white, med long dark(ish) hair one(gave me dtd on 5 packs of prawns without asking!) - the phone&electrical staff were a nightmare when I had to deal with them the last time...
BB has the young blonde(she gives dtd, but looks a little grumpy still ;) ) and a young(ish) tall med dark(ish) hair who told me everything about their policy giving me dtd for the pork mince the other week(like I wouldn't know it already:p), I never had any problems in BB so far...
new Y was of course trained by myself  but they were very willing to learn... :D

No idea if M does any kind of godwill gesture but never heard anything... and I don't know of any deals... sorry... :o (I should probably as my M is only across the road... :o)

I know what you mean, once a week at T's was always more than enough for me. Have to say big thank you to everyone on this thread even though I was ill and stuck indoors for 3 weeks so couldn't take advantage, it kept me amused seeing what you're all up to & kept my brain ticking over.

Defo going to find phones with DTD on OOD shelf label if it kills me.

Its good to have a goal otherwise you spend all your time running up & down the pitch & never scoring

Was going to say like your team then remembered I'm a Partick Thistle fan :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Shop two - A vs W
    And then repeat :j:j:j
    & now add - A vs S

Personally I'm in favour of Tescos making huge profits. I realised quite a while ago that you can't beat em so why not join em and became a shareholder. Big profits mean big dividends but I would stress that it should not be through overcharging . Nevertheless, it does however give me a bit of a moral dilemna regarding abuse of the DTD system.

If you want the fairer system that you think exists than I would suggest you vote communist or move and then watch the economy collapse. The profit that companys like Tesco make provide income via corporation tax for the Government which in turn pays for schools, hospitals, police etc.

Sorry for the rant as it's probably a bit too heavy for this thread but please think about the bigger picture

I've heard they are cheating on the Tax man in some way...?
